    The payment of fees isn't the issue; I'm well aware there are fees to pay, but they don't give me the option to pay on the website. I therefore assume it's due to the lack of available interview dates. What I find strange is, how can they ask me to pay the fees if they don't offer me the option to do so via the website? Or is this just a standard response they gave me?

    Since early February, when I received package 4, I've been waiting for a time slot to pay the fees and schedule an appointment. My fiancée and I have tried contacting them several times for clarification, but we haven't received any concrete answers other than that they receive a high volume of applications and prioritize certain types of visa applications. Today, we received a response from them saying that we must pay the processing fees first before proceeding to the next step!🤷🏾‍♂️Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone experienced a similar situation? Any advice would be welcome.

    I'm in the same situation. My girlfriend and I received package 4 at the beginning of February, which meant we could have scheduled an interview at the consulate in Montreal, but since then, radio silence! It seems like everything stopped suddenly. No appointments are available after checking the website several times a day, morning and evening..😪
