    I went back to check view submissions in my uscis online account. I dont see any thing. How stupid this USCIS website?, for vawa GC holders do they have to call uscis to update address then/

    Thank you. I updated my address through my USCIS online account. The system asked for my A-Number and a receipt number, but it did not ask for my previous address. I don’t have any active receipt numbers, so I entered only my A-Number. Is it normal that the online change-of-address tool does not ask for the previous address the way the paper AR-11 form does?

    I recently moved to NYC from Texas. I’m a lawful permanent resident with a 10-year VAWA-based green card. Do I need to file a change of address with USCIS (Form AR-11)? I’m no longer working with my prior attorney, but their office address was previously used as the mailing address for USCIS correspondence. If I should update my address now, should I file AR-11 myself? If so, can you tell me the safest way to do it in a VAWA case and whether it’s as simple as creating an online USCIS account and submitting the change online? Also, I was told that if you don’t report a move within 10 days it can be a deportable offense. Is that accurate, and what is the practical risk if someone files late?
