We need help! Two weeks ago my boyfriend who lives in the United States was in a horrible car wreck and lost any feeling below his chest. I immediately flew over on a tourist visa (ESTA) as I’m from The Netherlands but we since found out his rehabilitation is going to take a long time in which he needs my help more than ever. He will never be able to move his legs again and the thought of him having to go through this alone as soon as my visa runs out is absolutely gut wrenching.
Is there any kind of way I can extend my visa so that I can take care of him? It’s a very unusual and desperate request that I hope someone on here has an answer to. Can anyone recommend a good immigration lawyer or anyone who might be able to help? Any thoughts or advice are very appreciated.
