  1. I think if she really need to get married she can but have to remember

    1. Don't sign any paper to proof that they are married (NO Married Certificate sign)

    2. Don't show any pictures of their wedding to the embassy on the interview date

You can have a wedding party without a real wedding. That's mean they can invite people to their Reception only

I understand how she feel and I think this is the better way to get married with out any problem with their K1 Visa.

Because K1 Visa mean you want to came over to US with Fiance status not Husband. Have to told her that too!!!

  2. She is in school right now (Finished in a couple month) and my mom doesn't want her to leave the country yet.

I have no choice and I think it's a good idea to get everything ready for her by I-130.

I met her on her BD by AP ( I used it already. Can't wait for greencard to meet her).

We plan to move to a bigger place then everything will be ready in a couple month from now

( I wish it's same time as her case been approve)

After her case approve I'll go back to Thailand again for her medical and interview.

I know it's hard to stay away from my child but I really want everything to be ready for her.

I want her to be happy and we plan to have a long vacation after she came over.

Thank you guys. I know you really want me to stay with her as soon as possible.

  3. Thanks everyone. First of all I would like to say that I really want her to get K2 Visa because it's easy for me to do that but my husband said he want her to have a greencard without apply for anything when she came over here.

It's hard for me because I don't know about I-130. I search for information and do all the paper by myself.

My daughter just turn 3 last month and she still stay with my mom in Thailand. I wish I can take her here in a couple month.

If you guys have anything to advice me. Please feel free to talk with me. I need all your help.

  4. It seems that some people's cases (Pook) moved forward very quickly after NOA2. Don't get me wrong, I think that's wonderful. My only concern is that I had planned to be in Thailand for my fiancee's interview, but I'm wondering now if I will have enough lead time to get a ticket without paying through the nose. If I at least know a month in advance, that would be enough.

It's depend on what you plan to do after you get NOA2. For me Paul ready to take me there as soon as possible then I just try everything to move my case faster ( Track it by DHL , e-mail to the embassy , Ask for police cer with only NOA2 copy).

Don't worry that much. If you are not ready just wait. Because you have so many time to sent Packet3 back to them. No need to rush like us.

    Good luck

Next step just prepare all document that your fiance need. I take only 2 week to wait for my Packet3 after I got approval.

In thailand they change Packet3 checklist and process too. Your fiancee have to send all document including I-134 , W2 , Tax return and her Police cer. back to them with checklist. Don't wait to get NOA2 in paper you can print it from USCIS website and let her ask for Police cer. because it take 11 days to finished.

Good luck for both of you

  6. wow that is quick you will have your interview and I bet I will still be waiting for my NOA2 contrats

your case gonna speed up if US embassy in your country change their Packet3 like us. Don't give up. I think it's almost approve.

thanks Pook, however I am going to delay sending back packet 3 until January that is if I get it as I am going to see my Fiance at Christmas for 11 nights, so in one way I am not in a rush for my approval but I still want it now ha ha

So if they do change the process here and give you the interview date I have a big decision to make as I wont be ready to leave till March at the earliest

Good luck with your interview and keep us posted

    Have a great weekend

o.k. I'll. Hope everyone who wait for NOA2 got it soon too. Good luck guys

  7. Hey!

I just wanna told you guys that we have appointment for interview on 5 Nov 2008. It's very fast and I'm gonna be with Paul soon. Soooooooo happy

Wow! So fast. What is your secret?

I don't have any secret. Just track our case from DHL and e-mail to the US embassy in thailand asking for our case. After 1 day, They reply me back that they got our case and already send me Packet3 then I just send them a new version of Packet3(This one you have to send all document except your prove of relationship back to them). After that I just e-mail them to ask do they got our return Packet3 yet? They said YES and already make appointment for me on 5 NOV 2008 at 8.00am. That was great!!!!!

oh i wish it was that easy to set an appointment for interview here in the Philippines, we got approved last october 9th and we called the US Embassy Manila four times already, and they said they have our papers, but they cant give us an interview schedule yet, they said they are still "reviewing" our papers which is just ridiculous,

anyway, congratulations to you and good luck on your interview :)

Thank you and don't give up. Keep e-mail or asking them and they will give you an appointment soon. Good luck for you guys too.

That's great, but you managed to get processed at USCIS two months before anyone else!!

I don't know you guys know this or not but in Thailand US embassy change their Packet3 Checklist. Thay need us to send all document ( I-134 , Police cer., etc) back to them before they set your interview date. Good thing that my Fiance sent all the paper to me already before I got Packet3 from embassy. So I just send it back to them and no need to wait for anything else. That's why they can give me earier appointment for interview.
