I have some question

1. Did your daughter change her lastname to your husband lastname or she just keep her old one on the birth certificate?

2. If she change it. Do they ask for any document to prove that she have the right to change her lastname?

I'm about to apply the Citizenship and I want my daughter to change her lastname to be my husband lastname.

She came here by CR2 Visa. if anyone can help me with this question it would be nice. Thanks

Update for my daughter case. They need her bio dad sign to allow her to go to US.

It's almost over. I'll return it back to them tomorrow.

Guys....I already call them and you know what they said to me?

"The document we got is not custody paper and if you sure you have sent it just wait till your interview date but in my computer this is not the custody paper" and I asked him what's that then?but he never ever listen

he keep saying something that I already know and I'm mad because of MAM.......all the time but never have any respect to me in his voice

"I don't know and if you 100% sure that you have sent it just go for an interview. I can't help you MAM........"

#######.....He make me feel so bad with NVC. Sorry everybody but I'm really upset about it.

Richard......It's really make me worry about that because I don't want to west my time for visa anymore.

My husband and I really upset about the interview date because somebody told me it's fast but it's not.

We plan to take her to Disney World , FL on Chistmas but she can't because of NVC set the appointment on JAN.

Anyway we really want to go back as soon as possible. I wish you can make it before Chistmas.

Guys! I need your help. As my daughter case was complete and we already get her interview date.

I look at the e-mail appointment letter and they told you about the document they need on that day.

Can somebody told me which document we need on that day?

I sent original custody paper along with translation to them but they said on this

"The applicant has informed the NVC that the required document is unavailable." Why?

OMG I just can believe it I got my LOG IN FAIL guysss, I am so happy I had been so anxious today as you can see on my today posts, and I was about to leave home and give one last try and there it wassssss!!!!!!

Robotica97......For my case it's take almost a week to put in system. No rush to call them. Just check on AVR and if it change to Checklist accept then you can talk to them. I have a bad conversation with them when it's arrived but not in system. They will tell you that they don't get it and it will make you worry. Don't talk to them until AVR update o.k.?

Did you send by Fedex or any other carrier that tracks if it is delivered to NVC? If it is delivered to NVC then it will take anywhere from 3 days to a week to get into the system based on the signatures on this forum and once it is entered into the system then it will be another 7 days to 10 days to get approved if all the required documents are sent.

Raj.....I used Fedex and they show arrived at NVC on 9 NOV but I think Wed. is holiday. It might be slow but I still worry coz I didn't sent coversheet that they gave me along with Package ( Coz I send it at noon but they e-mail me at 1pm). Everything should be fine right?

Do any of you have this problem, I just send DS230 Package to NVC on 9 NOV (arrived) until now they said they didn't got it.

That's mean it's not in the system right? how many days it gonna take to be in system. I'm really worry coz I have to go back home now and I don't know how long it's gonna take to complete. Anybody help me please!!!!!
