  1. Yes, the I-130 was approved, this is what took the longest time. We were waiting forever. My wife has had a green card previously. No issues with travel or overstaying a visa etc. We have four children, two that study at a university in Texas and two living with mom until she gets her visa. It has been a very long journey to say the least.
  2. Thank you all, I am requesting them but it takes weeks/months at this time of year given that the new year is coming around and new w2s are going out. I am a US citizen and was born in the USA. I am also a US Army veteran. The April 2022 is not a typo, it has been three years waiting for the visa to get through the system and be approved. It has been tough for the children and tough for the family more generally. However, we are getting toward the end of this process, I hope, and we are finally getting through the process. Thanks for your comments!!
  3. I have been married for 30 years. My wife and I were married in eh USA and subsequently moved out of the country. My wife had to relinquish her Green Card. We are now coming back to the USA and had to reapply for the spousal visa and green card. I launched the application in April 2022. I am in the USA and my wife is in Australia, waiting the visa to be approved. The file was approved by USCIS and sent to NEAC (NVC). In the forms sections, i states that all forms have been "accepted" with nothing outstanding. Both statuses on the AOS and application state "accepted". However, there are two messages that state the NVC is requesting W2s for me, the petitioner. I have uploaded the official IRS tax transcripts along with a copy of my tax return. I also sent in a letter explaining that I had sent the original 2s in with my tax return and I no longer have them in my possession but I did submit tax transcripts and my tax return. I received another message stating that the W2s need to be submitted. I sent in a request asking the NVC to consider my tax transcripts and tax return for this purpose but I have not received a response to date. The status states that the file is still at the NVC but all docs state they are accepted and there is nothing that says otherwise except for the message requesting w2s. Should I be write to my previous employers and ask for w2s and pay attention to the messages or should I pay attention to the fact that all submitted documents are accepted and nothing says outstanding or incomplete? How long do i have to wait to find out for sure? Thank you Jeff
