Who's older here by 27 years? How old is the fiancee? Petitioner is 56 and Vietnamese fiancee is 28. Also, with your history and length of time - spousal visa would be a much better choice. We thought K1 was our best choice and submitted it. -
There wasn't an interview at consulate yet. NVC issued the case number on June 26 2026, kept it, then returned to USCIS for review.

I thought it would be faster and easier in less than a year and marrying process if complicated for some country.

My K1 petition for Vietnamese Fiancee was approved with NOA2 on April 1 2024, sent to NVC which issued a case number on June 26. However, we got a letter on the mail saying that "case was returned to USCIS and recent update on USCIS showed " department of state sent case to USCIS for review? I would like to share and learn from people around the world who have been in the same situation, what are the reasons, and finally the case would be successful for how long? Thank and good luck.
