  1. Thanks for your input. So, filing with the correction without the stamp is likely to generate an RFE?
  2. We dont have a timeline yet as we still did not submit anything. I am a Swedish national but living in Czech Republic and the divorce decree is from Czech Rep.
  3. Hi there! My fiance (the petitioner) and I are compiling our K1 petition and I have a question regarding the requirements for my divorce decree. I have the original decree as a scanned copy of the certified documents, which means it has a stamp, albeit a scanned one. However, the court made a mistake on my ex spouses nationality, it states the "republic" instead of "commonwealth". The court has amended the decree now and I was sent a digital copy with no stamp. They cannot serve me the certified copies until my ex has been served first. He lives on the other side of the world and it is taking its time. The entire court process for the amendment has been painfully slow. So my question is, could I file the I-129F package to USCIS with the non-stamped scan of the amendment and simply write a note that the certified copies will be provided at the embassy interview? Or is this approach likely to generate a RFE? I am super grateful for any insights! Thanks!
  4. Okay, so for the adjustment of status, id need to have the documents apostilled?
  5. Hi there! I have searched online for hours and hours including in this forum and have gotten none the wiser. So I thought i could attempt to get the info by making a post. Is there any fellow Swede here that knows if the Personbevis needs to be apostilled? If yes, only for the visa interview? Do they also accept the Personbevis if you present the English version that Skatteverket provides and stamps? Ive read that some people had to request it in Swedish and then get it translated... which makes zero sense! Thank you so much in advance!
