Hey, I’m referring to this one: The Department of State is now requiring immigrant visa applicants to interview in the consular district designated for their place of residence, or in their country of nationality if requested, with limited exceptions. Effective November 1, 2025, the National Visa Center will schedule immigrant visa applicants in their country of residence or, if requested, country of nationality. Residents of countries where routine visa operations are suspended or paused should apply at their designated immigrant visa processing post, unless the applicant is a national of another country with ongoing operations. Hi guys, So under the new law 1 November 2025, it does mention IR-5 cases being scheduled for Kazakhstan, Almaty. Does it mean that parents cases would no longer go to Warsaw? Has anyone recently applied and have experience with that? As we all know Schengen visa is extremely hard to get for Russians right now and being scheduled in Warsaw would not be a great option. Have anyone still been scheduled for Warsaw recently? Any experience with transfers? Can you request being scheduled in Kazakhstan and how? And what proof do they ask for transfers?
