I am alittle bit unsure due to the fact that he sent the documents in 2023. I just wanted to know when i can get a response from the embassy.

Yes it is a derative, my apologies, not used to the words being used on here. The applicants are 21 and 23. Yes, both actually. The visa became available in 2022 and due to my parents not knowing better and putting everything in the hands of the lawyer, we did not know we had to seek the visa within one year. Luckily, our lawyer told us that we have some documents showing that we tried to start the application but we were not getting a response from the embassy or NVC regarding some documents.

My apologies, was a mistake. I meant a green card, i was trying to get was one for family members 18 and below.

It was an F1 visa, Montreal Consulate. Because of how late my family lawyer submitted the visa, I passed the required age. I was told they could still give me the visa, if I could send documents to prove that i'm still eligble to get it.

I had an interview in January and due to some mistakes from my lawyer, I was asked to send some documents regarding my application. My application was updated in February and I've not gotten an update ever since then. I've sent the embassy multiplr emails, one in august ad last one 2 weeks ago. What do i do?
