Nope, no joint sponsor.. He filed taxes "Married filing jointly" (with my stepmother), and thats what we submitted to NVC

Hello everyone, NVC is asking for additional documents, "2024 W-2, 1099, and Schedule form." However, My petitioner (my father) is retired and does not have W-2. I asked him, and he does not have these documents. In the I-864 form, Part 6, the box checked is retired. The Financial evidence we submitted was Form 1040 (is this also the tax transcript?), it is filed jointly with his wife (not my mother) If i understand correctly, his income is spouse pension? since his wife is the one who is working, while he is "retired" (as declared in form 1040 and form i-864) How do we go about this? Do i need to write a letter explaining that we dont have W2? Thank you very much 🙏🏼
