    I want to book a flight for my family to join me for the interview in London from Nigeria. Since the interview is 31st December and there’s a public holiday on the 1st of January. Is booking a return date of 11th of January ok? I’ll sign up for passport pickup! I hope the passport would be ready by then? Thank you

    You should pick up another contract since London has defied all odds and move on with life. The constant thing is that they will send ILs but how soon is what we don’t know and having a job is another important criterion the consular officer pays attention to for an employment based visa.

    I’m on a Global Talent Visa in the UK and I think I should reply them based on the second option (special circumstances) of contacting via the public inquiry form. it costs nothing to reply since the specifically asked for a reply if I want to proceed with London. I planned replying on Monday. Specifically because I don’t want a sorry case of them now pending my case possibly because they are waiting for a response or whatever the case may be. I’ll make sure that my heading is that I’m retaining London as my post and include any necessary details including my job contract. Let’s hear from others for better justification if they contribute.

    Oh! You don’t have UK resident permits or one of the listed documents in the NVC email? Nobody from the employment category attest to receiving the Invite from London yet, so I hope they haven’t sent or we possibly don’t know those invited yet.

    Regarding this! I actually transferred to London in June 2025 but I wasn’t current then. Recall that my PD is Nov 2023 and DQ is March 2024. I recently got current in the October visa bulletin. Does that mean that I’ll be treated differently despite the fact that I transferred before getting current? I want to know so that I won’t keep my hopes high in the next batch. Thanks
