  1. Hello everyone, thank you for reading. In 2022 I completed a I-130 for my parents and I-485. Both were accepted and my parents have their green cards now since 2023. I plan to marry my fiancé in the Philippines this November. When the time comes to fill out an I-864 for her. Would my parents be calculated in my household size in Part 5, number 6 of the form? Since they aren’t citizens yet and I sponsored them previously? Thank you
  2. Hello everyone, thank you for reading this. I've read that joint sponsors are generally not accepted for K1 visas in the Philipines. However I've seen that its on a case by case basis. If the joint sponsor is somone like my father, could it still be accepted? Anyone have experince in doing this? Thank you.
  3. Thank you for your reply. I see that there is time for things to change
  4. Hello everyone, thank you for reading this. I'm going to begin the CR-1 process soon. I will be marrying my fiance from the Phillipines in November. Since I've been wokring part time and doing school the past few years, I do not meet the income requirements on my own and will need a joint sponsor. My parents have agreed to help me as a joint sponsor. I am confused however about what form to use and how to use it. My parents, myself, and younger brother all live together in the same house. On my I-864 form, on part 6. I plan to put my parents down as people who contribute to the household income. Do each of my parents fill out an I-864a form? Even if they file taxes jointly? And if they do, is it okay for them to put the exact same tax returns?
