yea, and cost of Mandamus is nothing for them, anyway there is always a risk for such lawsuits. I've heard a lot of Iranians are stuck in a similar situation, even the student visas are taking more than a year these days. It is still surprising why don't they care about my Swedish nationality and clear history...

If I understand it correctly, the case is probably been stuck on clearance, and a WoM would help move the needle, and there should not be any retaliation. However, my employer is not willing to pay the fees. 

I'm aware, and the funny thing is that last time I applied for a B1/2 visa, with the same passport (Swedish), it only took 2-3 months. 

My employer lawyer suggested Mandamus lawsuit.

I'm a dual citizen of Sweden and Iran. I've applied for L1-B visa on April 2024, and my application was refused under 221g (admin processing). Since then, the status has not changed (over 16 months!). 

I would like see if there is anyone else in similar situation. Also, does anybody know the current timeline of admin processing for Iranians.
