Approved at Bangkok for CR-1 on 10/7. CEAC portal is still showing 'Ready' today(10/14). I have tried emailing and calling but no response. Passport was taken at the interview and officer verbally said I was approved. I was hoping to have my passport back by now. I have noticed that the 'Last updated' date keeps changing each day, but the status doesn't. It makes me wonder what is being updated.

Hi everyone, I’m currently in the process of helping my spouse immigrate to the U.S., and we recently became documentarily qualified with the National Visa Center (NVC). However, due to extremely long wait times in our original designated country, we’re considering requesting a case transfer to the U.S. Embassy in Thailand. Has anyone here successfully transferred their immigrant visa case (specifically a spousal visa) to Thailand or another third country? I’m hoping to learn from others who’ve done this. A few questions I have: How long did it take to get a new interview date after the transfer was approved? Are there any helpful tips or things to avoid that you learned during the process?
