  1. Never left the country before she met me. After she met me, we traveled few countries together already.
  2. No she did not. I always filed paperwork behalf of her when needed.
  3. FIOA request was done through senator. But the reason they gave us was completely different not the photo of marriage. They claimed my wife was already married which is completely false. Yes, she is married to me. ( We gather official document proofing such nature for both of us in Pakistan)
  4. No, I am not related to her. I met my wife through a childhood friend of her who lived in the same neighborhood in Pakistan. No other wife. One and only.
  5. No, they did not provide us with exact details. I had to struggles 1 year to find out why exactly they denied with the waiver option only. Even then this does not makes sense. No official notice, I reached out to senator office and have them email behalf of me to find out the actual reason. I believe that was not the main reason. I am not originally from Pakistan, I am a U.S. Citizen and my parents are from Bangladesh. That was the official letter of denial notice. Nothing beyond that
  6. So after the interview the officer handed over this notice and told my wife have your husband file a waiver and you should be good to go. When my wife asked why is now getting denied the officer didn’t really gave her clear answer. I had fought the decision and got denied with this above explanation that the photos felt wrong timed ( wedding pictures does not match what we are presenting). Basically we mis represented material fact that’s what they claimed even though it’s completely wrong. Fast forward… i end up filling waiver with help of a lawyer. But its hard now cause its taking forever. We were married in 2020, its been more than 5 years now living apart.
  7. They did not have issue with bonafide relationship as we have a tons of proof that we provided. Living together, trips together, being with family together, chats/calls and photos. You name it and everything was provided. But for your sake I will upload the denial notice shortly.
  8. Before the I-130, I had applied K1 before which was approved but I did not met wife at that time. So, it was invalid. Then we got married and applied for I-130.
  9. No, it was just my wife only. (U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan)
  10. This exactly how I felt after my wife interview. The officer said your marriage is valid I believe but I feel the pictures aren't justifying.
  11. Misrepresentation at least that's what they believe due to enagement (2018) pictures vs wedding pictures. (02/2020) During covid.
  12. Our engagement ceremony were in 2018 and got married in 2020 right of the time of pendamic. So, the engagement pictures were more prepared / fancy than marriage since we did a small ggathering due to it was end of February right when covid was anounced. I have provided all the legal proof of documents and history of us being together. Private chats/ calls and financial docx that I have been supporting my wife throughout. It was never enough for them sometimes.
  13. So, they interview officer claimed we have misrepresented our wedding pictures. Based on the pictures they ask my wife to apply for a waiver. Which I have done already. I do have lawyers who's working on it and have submitted in February, 2024. I have been looking up online but there is not many cases that has updates about processing time and process as to what happens after the approval of the waiver case.
