864 requested at interview

OK thanks. My dad had the hard copy but the officer refused to even take a look at it. He kept saying 864 is needed. So, I assumed they didn’t accept 864ez version. -
Hi! When my parents showed up to their interview, the officer asked them to submit petitioner’s I-864. I had already submitted 864ez for each parent last year. The CEAC portal shows that form was accepted. Now, their case is marked “Refused, under administrative processing”. I immediately submitted I-864 on CEAC portal. Anyone knows how long it might take for the officer to process this now? The embassy kept their passports. I’m unsure how to handle this situation. I have received no notification whether they received my latest submission. Thanks in advance for your insights.
