  1. Ir1 visa application. Married since 2016. Interview scheduled for Nov 25. through the document collating as part of the AOS we recognised that my wife (sponsor) has been (always has pre and post marriage) filing as ‘single tax payer’ we now know she should have been filing MFS. She is well above min poverty wage. Since recognising this we have submitted form 1040-x to amend status to MFS for the past 3 years (22, 23 and 24) Amended tax returns will not be published for 16 weeks so we only have the forms we submitted and screen shots of the amendment status from her IRS portal. what should we do in this situation? Ie should we upload to NVC or just take docs with me to interview? Is it likely to be an issue or given the action we have taken is it likely to be of concern to CO? appreciate any advice in advance.
  2. I’m sure this has been asked 100’s times before so apologies. But I know someone will have a helpful answer on here for me. My processing time just jumped from 3 months to 17 months. Right when based on trends and others timelines my NOA2 should be right around the corner arguable in the post! Is this something people have seen before when USCIS start doing something on your case? Is it completely random? Or am I screwed and In for another 17 months? thanks in advance
  3. Hi All, We submitted I-130 (US citizen applying for spouse) in April 2024. So far we have 2 letters back from USCIS but cant be sure we are identifying where the case is with confidence. Letter 1 From I-767C notice type: Receipt received date: April 01, 2024 notice date: April 11, 2024 Receipt number: IOE************ In the bottom left corner of this letter there is an address for the Nebraska service center. Letter 2 and the only document posted on our USCIS portal From I-767C notice type: USCIS account access notice received date: April 01, 2024 notice date: April 19, 2024 Receipt number: IOE************ In the bottom left corner of this letter there is an address for the Vermont service center. So is our case with Nebraska or Vermont? asking so we can see trends with processing times in the center with our case. Appreciate any help.
