NOA2 expiring before Montreal interview

Hey all! It seems like my NOA2 will probably expire before my appointment at MTL. Do I need to take action on this? Also, how often does the Montreal consulate frees up timeslots for appointment? There's currently only one day, and it's impossible for me to get there. Thanks for the help everyone, this is wracking my nerves
