    Not sure if this has been asked but my wife and I are planning to visit Vietnam early next year for Tet. Her GC is currently expired and she has the 48 month extension letter. It has been 2 years since we submitted the I751. Any, with current Trump adm, any issue coming back to the US? I have been reading the news about people getting stopped with expired GC at entry port. I also see lots of people coming back with no issues. I just want to ask people that just recently visited Vietnam to see if they had any issues? Do you foresee any issue starting next year? ICE just got tons of funding to crack down on illegal immigrants so things may be heating up.

    Hello all, My wife is looking to renew her vietnamese passport. Her greencard is currently expired but she has the extension letter from i751. It has been 2 years and we are still waiting on the interview for it. We just tried one of those services that helps with passport renewal and we were told passport renewal with expired GC + extension letter is not possible. Can anyone confirm this? We need your help
