    @hollowfloors May I ask if the IRS transcripts were required for a certain amount of years? I have access to the last 5 years through their online portal, but nothing before that. Thank you!

    Thank you for your feedback! Sadly nothing has come through in my junk or spam. I also double checked my deleted emails to ensure I haven’t placed it there by mistake. I will try to send a follow up message. The general London embassy phone number sadly wasn’t helpful for this. Does anyone happen to have a phone number or email address for contacting the London embassy about DCF?

    Can I ask if anyone has experienced a refusal on their DCF request for the exceptional circumstances? It has now been 3 weeks since I sent my submission request to the London embassy and I haven’t heard anything from them. I’m now wondering if we could have been rejected and not notified? Hopefully they would send over an update by email even if the submission was rejected. I’m a US citizen and need to get home with my British husband so I can resume a job with my parent’s business. Perhaps that isn't considered a legitimate reason for exceptional circumstances as it’s a family connection, but we were hoping it would be. Any guidance would be gratefully appreciated!

    This is really helpful! Thank you so much for sharing. We’re still waiting for our initial acknowledgment from the embassy but will continue to trust the process. I hope your final steps will be completed shortly!

    Hi there @MovingUSA I am wondering the same thing. May I ask what your waiting time has been like thus far? I submitted the initial DCF form claiming Exceptional Circumstances three business days ago and am wondering when I might expect an initial response as well as the timeframe for the first appointment (US spouse). Any information on your timeline would be very helpful as a gage for what’s to come!
