    Thanks for this explanation. I am a bit worried because I got a job in the USA to resume next month on H1B and I was thinking I would get IL this month. I am at a confused state right now because doing AOS after I am current takes a longer period of time. Leaving work for the interview seems impossible since it's in academia.

    Hi Atlas, we are in the same boat. Current in the month of June, PD Sept 2023 and DQ'ed April 2024. looking forward to getting the IL in June and hopefully gets July interview date.
