hi mga mommies, matagal din akong di nka dalaw dito since i gave birth last april 13. My baby now is 10 weeks old at madaldal na & she can turn on her side now when i lay her in bed. Masarap maging new mom very challenging yet rewarding. She doubled her birth weight now from 6. 12 to 12. 15 and received 4 shots (vaccines) when she turned 2 months last week and nilagnat kinagabihan pero ok naman sya afetr that. Share ko lang sa inyo latest pics ni Athena. God bless to all mommies and mommies- to -be.

brettane, wawa naman si baby letcher mo, iwasan mo na lang kumain ng mga gas former foods. Hala! 2 days na lang due date ko na at lagi na me nagcocontract pero di naman nag paprogress. May appointment me maya sa ob ko 2:50 pm sana nag dilate na me kc gusto ko na talaga mangitlog hahaha. Last nite mejo nagpapractice me umire at dahil nga constipated me konti kaya i was imagining na umiire na me kaya tuloy lumabas hemorrhoids ko nai-strain ko kc, pasintabi lang sa mejo mga maselan jan ha.

eve- nagpunta ka pala dito sa AZ ang ganda naman ng pic nyo ni baby jacob.

ok I am getting the ticket tomorrow though expedia....I know she will need the e ticket but I have read (I think) that she will need a copy of the credit card and my ID ...is that true????? Expedia and hawaiin air lines are the same exact price should I just call hawaiin and do it through them?

my hubby got me a ticket thru expedia also and emailed me the e-ticket and all the details. They never ask me any copy of my hubby's cc and it was a straight flight from Manila to LAX for $750 13 hours flight only then he picked me up in the airport and stayed in hotel No hassle at POE. brettanne, thank you...yes, it is so painful...i cried hard as soon as my husband told me i miscarried so you could imagine how difficult it was when the doctor confirmed us i suppose. we're hoping for a good outcome as well.

pink, thank you...i guess you're right...it would be indeed difficult for us lalo na sakin kung nahawakan at nayakap ko na siya tapos biglang mawawala...iniisip ko na lang din ang positive side ng sa ganon madali akong makrecover...yes, we thanked God at nadiskubre agad namin ang ectopic pregnancy ko pati yong fallopian tube ko...but i was really scared about it and still am...but i have strong faith in God at alam kong hindi niya ako pababayaan.

i-10 west, thank you...i thought it was just a normal spotting until it got heavier. the doctor told us that even we rush to the er the day i spotted there was no way they can stop the miscarriage. im still exhausted and pain emotionally but im trying to think positive. yes, ectopic pregnancy is deadly dangerous and we surely are thankful to our babies for saving my life.

lykatodd, thank you...tama ka, kanina ngang umaga habang nakahiga ako sa bed bigla kong naalala ang nangyari at hindi ko talaga napigilan sarili kong umiyak...iyak pa rin ako ng iyak...gusto ko na ngang tumigil kaso naiiyak talaga ako...ang sakit kasi...buti na lang supportive ang asawa ko at palagi siyang nasa tabi ko nakaalalay.

fendegirl, that was the first thing i did was to remove my pregnancy ticker as soon as i logged in on vj, coz seeing it just make me feel more painful, sad and lonely. as long as your not bleeding you're fine...ectopic pregnancy sign and symptoms shows 6-8 weeks after you missed your period. and thats what happened to me. you're about 8 weeks now and if you have the same pregnancy as mine you'll know it by now. thanks...God bless you too.

RR, kung makukuha nga lang sa tulog or kain ang depress gagawin ko so that i wont feel it anymore...kaso hindi eh. nadedepress pa rin ako kapag naiisip ko ang nangyari...syempre nalulungkot talaga ako na nawala babies namin, pero the fact that it was a ectopic pregnancy helps me think more positive..kasi i didnt do anything wrong para matanggal sila kundi sila mismo ang nagkusa, to save my life...good kids. their my angels now. yon nga din sabi ng asawa ko, gusto nga niyang magkaron ako agad para daw gawa kaagad kaso di pa pwede specially im under medication. we flushed it in the toilet after 20-30 minutes of looking at it. sana nga nilagay namin sa garapa kaso huli na nung maisip namin. thank you. hi, my heart goes out for you my dear. I can relate how much pain u have inside for i've been through with the same ordeal on my first pregnancy last Dec. 08 that took me months to heal emotionally.

God knows how much i cried losing my baby during my 6 weeks of conception. Seems like the darkest moment in my life. frustrations, anger toward myself and other blaming game. My faith in God at that time has been questioned. Even if i prayed harder to him and still hoping that my baby was still there, I think that i was just more on denial stage than accepting the fact that i had miscarriage. I am a midwife back in our country and my experience in my field never gave me the assurance of having a perfect and smooth journey of pregnancy. I'm battling with depression as the aftermath of it. I found myself crying in the middle of the night, cry out for God's help and healing. All those things u feel now is what i exactly felt last 14 months ago. I know it takes time to heal but let God alone work on his own way. Just remember, u are not the only one whose heart is broken but also ur husband. Be there for each other and it's okay to cry, somehow someday pain will be gone for God is near to those brokenhearted and in sorrow. I think u are still young and very much capable of bearing again in God's perfect time. God had blessed u with that unborn child and he will bless u again with a child that will completely make u guys happy. Right now, i'm 8 weeks away from the arrival of my little one this April. Can't wait enough to see and hold my baby in my arms. You will be in my thoughts and in my prayer. God bless you and ur hubby.

Sis evelyn thanks sa info..Oo papaamend ko din passport ko para under my married na yung bago.Hehehehe..Magsasubmit pa lang ako ng report of marriage pasaway talaga ako. Yun nga din ang sabi ng hubby ko na kukunan din namin ng passport si mae since pupunta na din kami dun..Hay..So ibig sabihin fill up ko lang yung application form, then yung green passport ko tsaka identification card..

Tanung ko lang, anung requirement para sa baby? erereport din ba birth niya sa Philippine consulate?

ady & evelyn, share ko lang experience ko ha dahil tapos na me nag renew ng passport last year dahil may outreach ang Los Angeles embassy d2 sa Arizona kya di na me pumunta pa ng LA. First, i reported my marriage sa LA with all the required docs then send all my docs for renewing passport to LA embassy and that's under my married name na. Di na me nag apply pa ng ammendment kc parang understood na yun na ung new paaport na ni-renew mo ay under ur married name na. Now, passport ko ay married name na talaga. Hope my experience helps.

(Belated) Merry Christmas to all!

Hay naku...yan na nga ba ang nangyayari sa naiinip...

Mazzelynn Eve made her debut at 9:52am Eastern of Christmas day She weighed in at 8.6 lbs and is 21 inches tall I had one strong contraction around 5am, went to the bathroom at ayun na nga...bloody show. Did not go to the hospital till an hour later when my contractions were 4 mins apart. Am currently still in the hospital recuperating, Maizy is currently seeking Daddy's favor...he just cannot not pick her up the moment she starts to cry. Ayun, first night namin pareho kaming puyat. I swear...pati recovery ko is far different from when i had Alec. Di ako maka-wee-wee after they took out the catheter at nag-spasm yung daanan ng wee-wee ko kaya they had to re-insert another. I've been able to relieve myself since then but the walk to the toilet is somewhat excruciating kasi nag-spasm parin yung pantog ko. They are still observing me kas my hemoglobin dropped from a 10.9 pre-op to a 7.6 post-op. Passed out a lot of blood clots kanina so i am currently awaiting the lab tech who'll be getting another blood sample for another blood count. The baby was observed in the special care nursery for a while kasi sabi malaki sya for her age in weeks. Everything turned out to be fine although they had to test her blood sugar every now and then. She is developing some jaundice on her face already and I would not be surprised if she becomes yellower tomorrow. She is purely breast-fed...nakakatulugan nga lang nya mag-dede. She as passed out meconium 4 times already which is good...needs to make wet diapers now

Ayan...gising na naman yung prinsesa...feeding time again....

Grabbeeee ang saya saya ko dahil kay baby! at sooooobbrrrang busy din ako at puyat at pagod pero worthy naman lahat by just looking at my son. Sencya na at hindi ako makapagbackread kasi sobrang busy pa me. Ngayon lang ulit ako nakahawak ng laptop sas sobrang kabusyhan kay baby. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng bumati at I am always wishing you all good delivery and healthy baby.

hi sa lahat, share ko lang the joy&happiness we had yesterday as i had my first ultrasound and found out that i'm having a baby girl and sabi ng ultrasonographer normal daw lahat ng nakita nya kaya parang until now nasa lampas cloud 9 parin feeling ko. answered prayer talaga. my baby is 10 inches long and weighed 1/2 pound na, yeheey!!! medyo sad nga lang dahil hubby wasn't with me dahil may over-time lagi sa work. ok na rin dahil dagdag sa kita but i invited my father-in-law to come with me w/c made him so happy kc first time nyang makakita ng baby sa ultrasound na galaw ng galaw. i love my dad-in-law so much like a real father to me we had a little celebration last night when hubby got home. ngaun, i'm thinking what to name my little baby girl na. hay, kakaaliw talaga hehehe. have a nice day sa lahat ng mommy.

hello sa mga mommies. i'm on my 19th weeks now and i can feel my baby is moving a lot na. it started when i was only 18th weeks pero ngaun sobrang magalaw na xa sa tiyan ko. tsaka i never gained a lot before pregnancy timbang ko ay 105 lbs. tapos when i got pregnant biglang bumaba to 103 lbs. first pre-natal visit ko 105, 2nd visit 105.8 ngek! tapos ngaun nag weigh me kanina umaga i'm 107.8 na. maliit talaga tingnan ang tiyan kahit i'm approaching to 5th months na. ewan ko ba kain na man ako ng kain, yun nga lang di talaga ako malakas kumain, medyo tamad kc ako pag dating sa pagkain hehehe but not when it comes to ice cream

tomorrow naman first ultz ko na, i felt restless throughout the nights.... mixed emotions excited na parang may konting fears but i lift it up to our almighty God.

Evelyn, seryoso ka about sa baby na pinapakain na ng baby food ng asawa mo??? Sobrang hindi ok yan dahil di pa ready ang tummy ng baby ng ganon kaaga. Yong bagong pedia namin sabi nya ina-advice nila na 6 months na pakakainin ng baby food ang infants dahil pag ganong age na daw di masyado prone ang baby sa food allergy. Meron mga parents at 4 months pinapakain na ang baby ng solid food pero one month is way too early.

update everyone I know i seldomly post here but i always read naman, reading mode lang lage. anyway today Nov. 13, my baby is 4months old na.

mga mommies may tanong lang ako, kada ultrasound nyo ba nagbabayad kayo? kc yest. i had my first visit sa ob ko then i heard the strong heartbeat of my baby w/c made me very happy na parang dala dala ko hanggang pag tulog ko hehehe. kaso nga lang nalaman ko na ung ultrasound ko ay di covered ng insurance? ung panganganak ko "pohon" is 100% covered pero un na nga every ultrasound ay i need to pay $40 kayo ba ganun din? BTW, my health ins. is blue cross blue shield and we get the premium one.

eve, un ung tumaas blood pressure mo on ur third trimester. they often called pregnancy induced hypertension and that's it hypertension is the classic manifestation with swelling of feet and hands. ewan kung tama ba ako kc un lang naalala ko way back when i was a student

Sorry have not back read all your posts. Just want to inform everyone that yesterday we got a letter from USCIS stating the denial of my application. We went there this morning and they re-consider our case. We will go back on Wednesday and see how everything goes. Hopefully we don't have to re-apply and pay another 1+gran. Kagagaling ko lang ng hospital at kababayad lang ng asawa ko ng hospital bills, gipit na sa budget.

My wife came here on a K-1 visa. We are married and awaiting processing of the AOS. She has her EAD card. She also has a State ID card. We plan a trip back to the Philippines in about a year from now.

Her passport is in her maiden name. We will have to purchase her plane ticket in her maiden name.

We plan on getting her passport amended at DFA while in the Phils to show her married name.

We are sending next week the Report of Marriage Contracted Abroad form and the Information Sheet on Filipinos Marrying Foreign Nationals to the Philippine Embassy in Wash DC. This will ensure the records at CFO and DFA reflect our marriage when we travel back to the Phils and get her passport changed.

We plan on purchasing round trip tickets. Now after her passport name change to her married last name her passport name will not match her plane ticket.

Purchasing one way tickets is much more expensive. We are trying to avoid that. When I purchased my round trip ticket to go bring my wife here, I purchased her a one way ticket (800 USD) and myself a round trip ticket (1200 USD). Using Northwest Airlines flying from Charleston South Carolina to Manila.

Has anyone been through this and what did you do to prevent purchasing one way tickets???

hi, i had my passport change into married name last July when the LA consulate had an outreached here in Arizona. What i did first is sending a report of marriage and all the necesssary requirements they asked, there's a check list there if u will go to phil. consulate website. I sent it a month earlier before the outreached here in AZ. So when i renewed my passport it's under my married name already. I don't have to file for amendment, just submit a report of marriage docs. everything is under my married name now. God Bless.

Before kasi gusto ko 6...siguro ngayon 4 na lang hehhehe. Pero sabi ng asawa ko tingnan ko daw muna tong una..baka daw magbago pa naman isip ko sa sobrang sakit pag ilalabas na si baby.

Ako nag tatake ng iron kasi nga borderline anemic din ako after mag glucose test.

ako, I always ate chix liver kc rich in iron yan kaya siguro okay lang ung hemoglobin count ko. I tried taking iron before kaso nag constipate naman ako so eat na lang ng food that's high in iron.
