  1. Tbf NVC are pretty good at replying to PI’s. On the other hand, their replies are pretty much ‘cut & paste’ generic, so if their reply doesn’t contain your case number then don’t read in to it too much. Just wait a week and try again. I sent my first PI after 4 weeks then followed up every Monday morning Eventually after 83 days (12 weeks) NVC said they received my petition but hadn’t entered it into the system. 1 week later they replied with the new case number and it was sent (in transit) the very same day!!! So it seems there really is no “one size fits all” rule? 😕
  2. I am trying to book K1 visa appointment in London UK but getting the exact same error as you! So frustrating! Idk what to do? 😞
  3. Thank you for replying 🙂 This is what I am seeing…. i know you said that you didn’t see this particular error but is this the same page/process you followed? Im worried I’ve done something wrong 😕
  4. I’ve been trying to book my K1 visa appointment at the London consulate but it continually says “System is busy. Please try again later.” Any tips on how or when to get around this? Or is just 100% luck of trying at the right time? Thanks 🙂
  5. Thank you for your reply 🙂 The website that says average processing time is 35 days, is this website (visajourney). which is why I questioning our petition being processed in just 7 days! Seems too good to be true lol. Bit yeah, thanks again for addressing my 3 question. Gonna submit the ds-160 now 😁
  6. Ok I have questions. Please help. A little confused right now 😕 So our petition was sent to DoS on Feb 5th. NVC stated they received it on Feb 18th Today (Feb 25th) we received our NVC case number (after asking for it). When I try to log in to CEAC it says “not found”? I read somewhere to use just the nvc case number and to put NA in passport number field. I tried this and it accepted it and showed me the following message… IN TRANSIT - Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center” Q1. Is this 100% accurate? NVC have forwarded our case to the consulate just 1 week after receiving it? This website says average time is currently 35 days? Q2. Why does it say interview date has been provided by NVC? Is this just a generic/standard response? Q3. I’ve heard and read multiple times that you can submit your ds-160 and pay the fee when your status shows “in transit”. You don’t have to actually wait until the consulate receives it as it only takes 5 days to get from nvc to consulate. Should I submit mine now and pay or wait some more? Thanks in advance for your replies people. I am so confused rn! lol
  7. Quick question for those who have been through/past this stage please. Received the below email from the NVC today. How long did you wait from this stage until you got your case number and were able to log into CEAC? Thank you 🙂 The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems.
  8. Our petition got sent to NVC today. So happy! 😁 I hope all of us April 2025 filers get through this process soon! Keep the faith guys and gals 💕
  9. Nevermind. Status just changed to “sent to DOS” 😁 Thank you to those who replied though. It’s appreciated 🙂
  10. I was looking at the stats for the 10 day period (5 days either side) of our petition approval date (Dec 1). Each of the weekdays, both before and after have had the majority of petitions sent to NVC, however Dec 1 approvals have zero sent. I understand that our petition has not been singled out as everybody with Dec 1 approval is still waiting to be sent to DOS but the majority of DEC 2 and 3 have already been sent. It’s like USCIS just skipped over a whole days petitions 😕 Am I overthinking this?
  11. Update: Today we received this email which is a bit more explanatory 🙂……… Greetings, The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. However, we do not have a record of receiving your approved petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). We will contact USCIS to determine the location of your petition. You do not need to take any action at this time. Thank you for your patience as we work with USCIS to make sure your case is moving forward. Although the Form I-797 approval notice mentions a delay of up to 30 days for cases to be delivered to NVC from USCIS, current shipping times may be longer. Once NVC receives this petition from USCIS and enters it into our system, all case parties will receive a notice that they can begin processing if a visa number is immediately available.
  12. Thank You Edward, I appreciate your response. Sounds promising, I hope ours is the same then? Such a long journey but we’ll get there 🙂
  13. We’re currently waiting for USCIS to send our paperwork to the NVC. We sent public enquiry forms. The first two times they responded saying that they haven’t received the petition yet, but today they responded with…. “The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate action will be taken once this review is completed.” Is this a standard reply? Is it essentially any different in meaning from the previous responses? I’m thinking it may be because I attached a copy of our NOA2 (I-797) this time as it’s past the 60 day mark? What do you think? Any advice?
  14. Received our NOA2 today. (April 18 noa1). So happy! Feels like a major milestone has been reached 😁
