My check was cashed, and was for the amount $455.00, which is the fee listed on the website. Not too sure what you mean by wrong address on the check, but my personal address matches my home address, and matches the address I used on all my documents.

I called again today, and finally reached the "second" tier of folks, being passed up to an Officer. She informed me that my petition had not been rejected, but that she was unsure what had been returned to the California Service Center. She said that according to the computer system, the petition had been assigned a receipt number and was still pending.

So I am hopeful that the returned mail was just my NOA1. She told me that if they had sent the entire petition back, the case would show up as rejected. (of course someone could have entered data wrong, or failed to enter data, after all it took them 3 months to tell me that something had been returned to their office).

Still hopeful, but not terribly impressed with our government.

NOA1 is I-797 NOTICE OF ACTION. Sounds like someone entered the wrong data (returned your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E))into the database. What a surprise. I'm not impressed either. I really hope that's the case and that you moving right along now.

just fyi... was speaking of the address on the personal check not matching the petitioner's home address. VSC seems to have a problem with that.

Shouldnt be all that much longer for us CSC guys, I have my fingers crossed for the end of Aug... Now a timeline from NOA2 to visa is a different story, Im just hoping to miss winter up here in cold Canada.

But 9 More days till i get to spend a week with my fiancee so that should make the rest of the waiting a little easier. Hope to see more of you getting approvals, Keep us all posted!

Hello everyone !!!

I could not find a thread for CSC April 08 filers and thought I would start one. I had found for March/April, but it was confusing for me to read through all the posts

My beautiful fiancee Oksana, resides in Tashkent Uzbekistan and we filed 4/04/08 and our last touch was 04/09/08.

I know that it is now a waiting game and I am a very patient man As for Oksana she is a little impatient with the process, but is coming around and is getting a much better idea about the process from reading much at this site.

I hope that the pace of the NOA2's being approved picks up very soon so that we can breath normal again and begin our wonderful life together.

I wish all April 08 filers the best of luck and Gods speed
