    My husband called USem this 11:14 this am ( after my numerous attempts to call ) and talked to Grace. After asking for some information,she said we got approved on the 12th .He couldnt believe it and asked : Did you just said we got approved? And when Grace said yes, he was so elated he asked her if he can hug her . That made Grace laughed and after my husband told her she was famous.

    What a relief, after all our worries ,and our what ifs ,For me, it's like a tranquilizer that worked wonders "somehow,(hehehe) knowing that were getting closer to being together again and would finally start our lives together, for lifetime.

    Im in ecstatic, more so /will be very when visa are n our hands.

    We will call back on Friday to know more updates, to know if they'll let us pick up our visas too.I wish no more delays :)

    Radz is at CFO in manila at prizm as im typing this she called a few minutes ago said she only has one on one interview left then she gets her sticker on her passport. Radz said they have been very nice to her at the interview and she had a good time there. IM excited now her flight is Wednesday and im packing up so to fly to San Fran will meet her at the airport when her flight arrives. :dance::dance::dance:

    My husband just called USem this am and asked some questions re our case and if we could pay the visa delivery fee. He spoke to a guy, who told us to wait a month, and they will let us know when to pay it. My husband asked why it will take a month just to verify a single document.

    My husband mentioned also about Delbros verification fee refund. The DV was paid Sept 15 of last yr.He said we can send a fax about the refund. Its weird that when I tried sending a text to Delbros for "another follow up" ( last month) and see what they'd say, I got the same response from them, that my documents was sent to NSO last Sept 15 and it'll take a month to verify them,, so on........and so forth............

    If DV has been "dissolved" why they'd reply like that ? As if it still exists? Are they still doing it ?,Could it be why, it'll take a month for them to verify the add'l documents I've submitted last week?

    Asking help to those who have made follow ups before they got their visa (after frequent/regular calls to USem). We didnt expect that it was a guy who'd answer the call. I think my husband called the 1900 #.The number that has the locals 5184-5 is the only number to call Grace/Lorraine?

    I had been sick with Delbros too. When I paid for my visa delivery fee last Friday, I mentioned to the guy that I wanted to get my refund for the DV fee. He then told me to go to the Embassy Pavilion and ask for my refund there. Now when we went there along with a VJ member I met from Davao, I talked to a cashier and said that I wanted to get my refund, I felt better when she asked for our case numbers and names. Only to be devastated that I need to go to the Delbros Main office which is at the Port Area in Manila. Or that I could call their telephone number and ask to get Robi on the line. When I talked to Robi, she said that I need to wait for a message from Delbros saying that I could pick up my refund at the main office. I told that her I will be leaving for Cebu that same day, she said well, you just have to wait. Could you imagine that? :angry: I guess they don't really plan on giving a refund at all! Screw them! :angry:

    Thats disappointing. But It'll be a waste of our effort and time then? plus that amount of refund will be just equivalent to what I am going to pay for the transpo and food ( coz I'll be tired and hungry during the trip) just to go to their main ofc. hehehe

    Days Hotel Tagaytay

    Congratulations Anna!! Hi , Sorry about your bad experience during your stay there... for how long/how many days ?

    My husband , our kids and I had a wonderful time at Days Hotel May 7-10 ,2007. We enjoyed dining in the hotel's cafe. Enjoyed their breakfast ,lunch and dinner.Dining also at the Gazeebo (poolside)..

    Our room was just across the their swimming pool. overlooking the amazing view of taal lake/volcano. I am not sure,if I can remember something not good about Days tagaytay Hotel, but we were so "elated " and happy to be sharing those moments we spent, each day as a family. Spent our few days swimming, ( kids enjoyed that more) HHWW ( holding hands while walking ) outside to see the great view in the morning.

    Im not sure why poor service na sila ,kunsabagay, tagal na ung pagcheck in namin don... Sayang naman kung ganon. My husband,kids and I have been wanting to go back, maybe on his next visit dito s Pilipinas . But maybe also we should check for more reviews... ( nangangarap, tagal n kaming di ngkita ng husband ko :crying: )

    Maybe we can try the Sonya's Garden (gracey's suggestion ;) Pagdating ng panahon ...........................

    Thanks for replying everyone. My husband will try to call the USem tomorrow and ask ..

    As of now, there are 2 other applicants who didnt pay the delivery fee. one applicant was given the form in paying delbros delivery fee but she has chosen COD and there's one vj member said, the person who accepted her add'l documents said also, that she will just have to wait, but she then asked if she could pick up her visa. But they said ,she will be informed first when to pick up.

    yes , confusing, thank you for the contact # Ronjie... We will try to call next wk or visit usem again, if they'll allow me to go inside ..

    I hope that was the reason they didnt let me pay it, why as of tues, jan 6, 2009 (she was the last one who was interviewed and paid delbros, )and why just on short notice?

    Hope someone who had (today) or will have their interview in the next few days, will ease my worries somehow.

    After getting my cenomar/CEMAR around 10am yesterday. I submitted the obtained documents (CEMAR and annotated marriage cert) ,passports ( my kids' and mine ) , and all the forms that USEM gave me. ( including the white slip that had the checklist and filled out blue form ).

    The Mr. (at window 19) ,checked the documents...he then asked me if all the passports were complete. HE said " ok na " ..Then asked me if I already paid for he Delivery fee . Told him not yet..then he said I can just pay it,as COD, just wait coz we changed our courier. So I asked him , in a way of confirming what he just said , that I'll just have to pay the fee when I received the visas? he said : yes.

    I didnt ask anymore question..Except if it was already ok / "done", and if i could go. He said yes..When he said yes, it sounded like the submission of the documents went ok, except for not paying the delivery fee. Is it really true, they have now a different courier? I was worried..., still worrying,, , that he didn't let me pay it, coz I was thinking,maybe it could be another delay again( reviewing our applications will take longer again? )

    Anyone here, who just had their interview or submitted add'l documents yesterday? and wasnt asked to pay for delivery fee and COD way instead? pls. help.... thanks in advance .

    OH if its COD i hope its AIR21...

    I wished I have asked.... I should have but I didnt :(
