There's no way for me and my wife to meet. She was in her circle of Filipino friends and families while I was on the other side of Los Angeles with my circle of influence. So I really believe that God was in the midst of it all!
I had a young co-worker who took upon herself to create a myspace profile for me since I was late in my 30's with no relationships. She nagged me to death to make sure to open my myspace account. I was and is still not an internet savvy person.
One boring night, I finally opened myspace account and met some people there and got a hang of checking people out and sending them short messages. But it was very wierd that everytime I open myspace, her face would just pop out of the webpage. I think it's part of the page that says: people that you may find interesting.
She had that sun-shine smile. I checked her page and liked what I read. So I sent her a message. SHE REPLIED!
And the rest was history!
She turned out to be a christian just like me. Love the Lord too. Our short e-mails turned into chatting turned into telephone calls. That was Nov. 2004. March 2005 I had to meet her. She did allowed herself to be seen and invited me to her friend's church where she also attends a singles' ministry. She figured, I could meet someone there.
As I approached the church, I saw this tiny little girl at the parking lot with a bright smile. I knew then she has to be mine!
