  1. hello guys ... can any one know how much u have to wait after case complete till interview ( pretty american embassy in cairo ) ... hopeany one go through this ... i am waiting since second of last dec till now .. i did called DOS and NVC also contact embassy here in egypt ... seem no body have answer or much more info ... any help or ideas i will be thankful .

Hi, We are in the same boat at US embassy in cairo, my wife's case was complated on jan,2nd and no interview appoitment yet, the embassy in cairo is very busy this days spacially with DV lottry intervies. i was looking at their website and almost 89% of the interviews are giving to DV lottry. good luck and keep in touch

  2. From my understanding, we would not be required to submit any documents for the K3 process until the weeks prior to the interview date being set. Is that correct? As I would need all the original documents for the DS-230 package and my wife wouldn't be able to provide any of that

What would happen in the event a K3 interview date is set, and the CR1 process is not complete at the NVC by that time? Do we just request the Consulate to hold the interview until NVC process is complete?

NO interview will be set untill you send the all the forms they need when they send you the third pakage. I am holding my third pakage i didn't send anything yet untill the IR1 move on .

  3. According to DOS (in another thread I posted) If you want the CR-1/IR-1 instead of the K3 then you have to email the embassy with your NVC case number in the subject line and request to cancel the K3 process as you are going to request the I-130 be forwarded to the NVC for the CR-1/IR-1 process.

Be very sure this is what you want to do before doing this. (That is what they told me on the phone.)

Also call the USCIS to make sure what the formal procedures are for doing this. I haven't done this myself yet but I don't know the other part of the process from calling DOS when my I-129F got to the Embassy. I haven't canceled anything yet myself so if someone calls and verifys from the USCIS on how to forward the I-130 come back here and post that ok.

Yes Both petitions were already forroward to NVC, I120f in the way to the embassy already , and I130 still at NVC to complate the procedures , which takes up to 2 monthes to get done.

  4. We got both petions approved this week. We already have a case no. for the CR-1. That's the visa we want to pursue.

Do we have to do anything to "stop" the K-3, or we simply let it go ahead without fears? What if they call me for the K-3 interview while we are still doing NVC for the I-130?

BEST of the BEST would be to have a K-3 interview early on, finish Cr-1 in time and get switched to CR-1... Likely or not?

if you are applying cr-1 and k3 concurrently, your CR-1 files won't be transferred to your u.s embassy in your country, only your K-3 will. the usics do these to save time and confusion. but if you wanna pursue the cr-1. u have to file for I-824 to have them send your file to overseas embassy. and you need to cancel your k-3. i think it states on your CR-1 NOA2. read it....good luck

NO this is was before , when UCSIS used to hold the approved I130 and send out the I129f.

But nowadays USCIS send out both petitions to NVC and they process both .

For I.824 to request USCS to send Your approved i130 to NVC but it is already with NVC , then no need for this form.

    Good luck

  5. Same concern... By the way, how did you find out that it is going to the Embassy already?

No matter what. If you are eligible for a IR or CR by all means go with them .

thnks . I know But the I129f is already going to the empassy . How can i stop it ? and if i ignore the interview What will happen to the IR1?

I found out by calling NVC and they said it was forward to the embassy on the 25th of novmber

  6. Our lawyer entered a wrong divorce date for my fiance and some typo errors. Lawyer assured me those wouldn't matter 'coz we had supporting documents. We did not receive any RFE.

Just hope and pray the adjudicator won't notice it.

    Good luck :star:

HI, Don't worry , Even if the adjudiccator noticed it won't be a problem , they will just fix it at the time of the interview , there are too many people make mistakes in their applications , I remember i did a mistake in my naturalization form and the interviwer fix it for me with his pen .

    Good luck

  7. I would rather have a beautiful baby than money anyday ! Which I do have a wonderful son Prince Amir and a wonderful husband .

My point was not to accuse me of being a gold digger when

    1. I have no need for money -and-

    2. If she gets divorced, she'll get more money than I would if I were to get a divorce.

And last but not least, just don't be a hater! If I was worried about my immigration status, I would never post my story up. But I'm not worried. Even if they deny an application, we can live in Europe. It's not like our life will be over, or I have to move to a third world country. Either way, we'll be fine. The only reason we chose America is because both our families are here.

And personally, I don't want a baby. Can't stand them. Don't want to have anything to do with them. Most women like babies and that's wonderful for them. Just not my forte!

I'm very sad for you....I had a boss that shared your views...we later found out she could not get pregnant, hence her venomous attitude toward babies as she reached that high risk age. I am not attacking you...just the "can't stand them" comment was a bit nasty...imagine if your mother shared that attitude...you were a baby once. :(

I think this is everybody's choice to have or not have babies. nariana have the right to choice what's good for her life . I heard from alot of american women that they don't intend to have babies so it is now wrong to choice to have ot not have kids. we all do what's right for our lifes.

hahaha i think that every topic i make now people come and just want to fight. come on ladies calm down.

  8. alright, let me show you ladies what CO limited power .

    No readjudication of petitions

    7. In general, an approved petition will be considered by consular officers as prima facie evidence that the requirements for classification - which are examined in the petition process - have been met. Where Congress has placed responsibility and authority with DHS to determine whether the requirements for status which are examined in the petition process have been met, consular officers do not have the authority to question the approval of petitions without specific evidence, generally unavailable to DHS at the time of petition approval, that the beneficiary may not be entitled to status (see 9 FAM 41.53, Note 2, 41.54 Note 3.2-2, 41.55 Note 8, 41.56 Note 10, 41.57 Note 6, and 42.43 Note 2) due to fraud, changes in circumstances or clear error on the part of DHS in approving the petition. Conoffs should not assume that a petition should be revoked simply because they would have reached a different decision if adjudicating the petition. …”

What does that language mean? It means an approved petition is prima facie evidence of eligibility for an immigrant visa, unless a consular officer finds substantial evidence of ineligibility. More importantly, this evidence must have been unknown and unavailable to DHS at the time it approved the petition. That is the nearly the whole game for your client right there, in a few words.

..... OK now we all see that CO can't deney you in an interview for a red flag that was knowing by DHS before they approve your I130 petition.

  9. I thought in his original post he said he met and married the first wife in the US. They had troubles and divorced after 6 years. He was a LPR then. Then after he became a USC he went back to Egypt and married someone that he knew from childhood.

I don't remember him saying he fell in love with the girl while he was married to the first wife????? I was also under the impression that he was an LPR for awhile before he got divorced, since he said 6 years.

Did I miss something? Cause if he started an affair with the current wife, while still married to the first, that is very, very, WRONG!

    Karma indeed!!!!

No narina you didn't miss anything that's exactlly what happend, i got my USC 2 years after divorce. that means i didn't marry just for a USC. knowing someone from your neigbours or your country dosen't mean you have a plans to do things like those women think.

Just don't try to explain to them anymore , they are just looking at this like oh Is my spouse going to divorce me and marry another woman ? lol

They not secure and not sure about thier loves. hahaha that's why i left them talk and talk and i laugh about them. I wish all the secure love to everyone in VJ . i always say good luck all

  10. No doods they don't contact the ex-wife. Once the man gets 10 year card, he can petiton for another. If he has citizenship, then he's on the fast track.

    jJ

Jackie, I like your good working brain, you don't take things from the way it looks , you try to understand before you give any reply . it is a good thing to do in this life , not to judge very quike. best regards

  11. He came here from Egypt because he married a USC. He fell in love with a gril from Egypt while married (cough cough), divorced the USC as soon as he was able to petition legally for the Egyptian and now got approved. I would hope that this would have sent a huge red flag to the USCIS and that they would have contacted the ex to hear her side of the story but I guess that's just wishful thinking on my part. Sorry I'm b!tchy today and not politcally correct. This stuff just rubs me the wrong way.

hahaha . you need to have a selfconfident . why are you so scared with your spuse?. let me tell you that the story you wrote is not the correct one , my ex didn't bring me to america at all. we met here and we married here in USA. Just wish good things to the people so you can get back a good carma after your spose come to america. we all humans and we have feeling. care about others to find someone who cares about you.

    bye

  12. The real test isn't the USCIS, it's the consulate. Good luck there, if I remember right you are going to need it.

Do they contact the exwife who got you here at all? I always wondered about that. I mean God forbid my husband did something like this I would hope the USCIS would contact me to ask what really happened. If not they really need some revamping.

Bridget, relax please . you also can say congrats so i can be able to say it to you later on when you finish with your spouse visa. thanks guys

  13. I can hardly believe it! I received two CRIS emails just a few minutes ago and our I-129F and I-130 have been APPROVED!!! My Congressman's office checked into our case this week so maybe that was the extra push that was needed! Thank you all for your encouragement over the past months. You all remain in my prayers that you will be soon reunited with your loved ones!

Yep Yep yep . i got approved too yesterday nov,19. I saw few approvals today from VSC , wow they are working finally. few people only here . it must be thousands got approved this week. well that's a good news for everybody. Good luck
