i have the same situation, i got the REF for i-864, the operator were able to tell me whats was missing, so i just send them on Friday, and hoping to get my case complete at the end of this week so i can get the interview in July,

its really upsetting, i m really Stressing out.

some ppl are so lucky that they get their case complete in 3 days without any REF

cant wait to hear the 2 sweet words " CASE COMPLETE"

how long does it takes to enter the reference into the system and review the reference.

I got my NVC case number and IIN at the same time, they hadn't even uploaded it onto the system properly, but the person I spoke to managed to find it .... still no sign of my NOA2 hardcopy, so, I don't have my A# number yet .... oh, well. It would be nice to see if they've given me the same as my last one

Sarah, excellent to know that you got both NVC case# and IIN. Now you're IN to NVC This ship has more horsepower to pull everybody so fast to the destination Don't worry about NOA2 hard copy, it will be arrived in a week after the approval.

Yes, we got the interview date on July 3rd. Mrs. Loto will be in the U.S on July 11th unless there are further glitches

I am flying back to the U.S on June 1st and will be there on the same day evening. Now more decorations for my sweetie

my brother case was complete on MAY 28 and he called yesteday to find out the date but they didn't assign the date yet.

when you get the interview letter from NVC they will list all documents received and those still required

hey guys.. ya i heard it takes 2 weeks to review the ds230, thats what the operator told me last night.. and ya if we all dont get approved by june 9 then we wil have an aug date

oh well... we should be grateful since we all are the first ones to try the NEW NVC system.. and we dont have to wait 4 months in NVC

The amount you put on the I-864 should be equal to or less than the evidence you provide in the form of bank statements and other supporting documents.

Otherwise, anyone can say they have $100K in savings but if their bank statement shows $5K, it doesn't add up.

DS-230 packet arrived at NVC today!

Hopefully we're less than 2 weeks away from "CASE COMPLETE"! Right now I'm at 22 days since NVC received my I-130 ... record pace so far! lol

Congrats to everyone who has finished the NVC process - and thanks, from all of us, to loto who made it all possible for the rest of us to rush through this process!

Mine was delivered at 9:50 AM today ... hopefully we can both be happy in less than 2 weeks.

my ds-230 and i-864 was enter on may 27th, still waiting for to complete.

my husband has not recieved his interview letter in India and I sent him a copy of the one I recieved 14 days ago. The Chennai website says the VFS fees have to be paid 10-15 days before the interview and VFS says you have to have the letter to pay them. The interview is JUne 6th, only 9 days from now. I have already sent email to VFS with unsatisfactory responce (you can pay fees with passport and interview letter...I dont think they read the whole thing ) and I have not received responce from chennai yet. So here I am asking those who have gone through this before, what is the minumum number of days to pay the fees??????

We have DS 2001 in Brazil and it is used to declare that you're prepared and all set with the docs for the interview. According to my local consulate guide lines, this form should be sent along with form DS 230 to the consulate prior to the inteview but right now I'm not sure. So here's what I'll do, it's no big deal since I'll be all set with all the requested docs and medical exams when I receive P4 so I'll just follow its instructions or if not clear I'll call my local consulate to ask what should be the proper procedure with the DS 2001. I would suggest you to do the same. Hope it helps.

I was so confused when i filled my I-864 form for my spouse, it was a big and lenthy form with 12 pages of instructons.

then i found that i can fill I-864EZ form because i am filing for my husband only and i am going to show my own earned income with W2's

As per my understanding i just wanted to share my knowledge and please correct me if i am wrong

Form I-864 is used when you are sponsering more than ONE inteding immigrant.

Form I-864EZ is used when you are going to sponser only ONE Immigrant.

Form I-864A is a Contract between Household and Sponser(In other words a promise by Household to support immigrant)

Form I-864W is used to get exemption from I-864(If you dont need any support from sponser)

I-864P is Poverty Guideline

today i am mailing my i864 and i864A (my dad is going to be co sponsor ) and we do live in the same household..

i could just use 1864 as i am above poverty line but havingmy dad as joint sponsor will make the applicatin look stronger.. so i was advised to have him fill out i864A

Nitshrut, yes you need to fill I-864 and your uncle need to fill and sign I-864A which will establish a realtion and contract between you two

i did call couple of times but they never give it to me so i thought i should send them by mail.... i am going to call today to see what is going on.. they have approve the email for choice of agent..

Keep calling them everyday (morning at 7:30AM) to get IIN. I just tried today morning at 7:30AM and in the first attempt it connected to NVC operator. Actually it was 7:29AM and 30 seconds
