Yey!Oath Ceremony will be on January 3

I just checked my online status right now and it says they sent me a letter for my oath ceremony..Just an update.Congrats anyway NM:).

So I passed the civic/english test. the officer asked me few questions which I forgot.(questions such as how i got here, when did my dad and my step mom divorced) It was many years ago and I was young, so I couldn't answer with certainty. I saw the officer wrote down something(making corrections/changes? idk)

I got marks for:

You passed the test of English and U.S. history and government.

B) A decision connot yet be made about your application.

anyone got any idea if this is normal?

I had the same mark you have had when i was interviewed last Dec.3 but yesterday i checked my status online my application was been placed in the oath scheduling que:).I hope i will have my Oath Ceremony before Christmas,a nice Christmas Present but Oh well,i am HAPPY to know that i'd been approved.Lol...You'll be FINE.

IO i mean.Does all in here received a paper saying APPROVED?I am a little bit paranoid now.Hope somebody will answer my quiry.Thanks:).

I was interviewed earlier.The Consul asked me 10questions and i answered it all.He was so nice,he told me that i passed but he cant give me the decision right away coz he has to look all my evidences again as it was so thick but he assured me that i have enough evidence and i will received my oathtaking ceremony in the mail.He CONGRATULATE me but he never did put an APPROVED mark and he handed me the paper saying that the decicion cannot be made but he told me to bring that paper on my oathtaking.Lol..Kinda confusing but at the same time he said CONGRATULATION.Lol..I'll just wait what will happen next:).

I will have my interview on Dec.3 @ Dallas:).

Hello September Filers:).Count me in PLEASE!!!Submitted mine Sept.7 @USCIS DALLAS and they received my packet Sept.8 maybe because my location is just 2 hours from Dallas:D.

Thanks Yurika & Jim,i received my green card today in our mailbox,and it's really green .Hopefully end of this year i will submit my N-400. .

When i submitted my ROC,i wasn't prepared at all coz i am always busy working.I remembered i had only one bank statement submitted,(month of March of 2010 only)it's a joint account and that account was opened 3months after my arrival here.We have our own health insurance,so the only joint documents i submitted was the 2009 and 2010 IRS,car insurance,life insurance and our 401k beneficiaries,i wasn't in our mortgage coz he had that one long time ago,we had an interview on my 2 years GC before and the interviewer asked my husband when he acquired that house it is before or after the marriage and he answered the truth,that's it i received my 2 years gc after a week of our interview.So maybe it depends on the person who handle our case coz i thought my documents wasn't enough at all coz we dont have kids,but THANK GOD,i got my approval letter for my 10years gc without interview.GOODLUCK. .

Received the Approval Letter today .I was approve 1/12/12.

I am glad i found this topic,i got my ticket going home to the Philippines next month ,my gc is expired and until now i am still waiting for my 10 yrs GC...VSC is so slow right now,but anyways i have my extension letter with me.Now i can sleep tight and i dont have to call my local uscis office.Lol..Thanks to all who responded and started this topic .

Golly!!That's my biggest fear right now coz i am planning to travel this coming Oct. to the Philippines and i am still waiting for my GC,well VSC right now is way too slow and my 2 yrs gc expired already last month.So do you think guys,i should make an infopass to our local uscis for my passport to be stamp?Or does anyone experience in here where their passport stamped as a form of re entry?Thanks much for any suggestion.

Yes Lovers we can compare with each other.Yehey!!!!but im kinda worried for a future RFE.Lol...it is because i just sent April 2011 bank statement and that was it,but we do have a joint account since 2008 after our wedding but along with that evidence,i also sent my 401k where he is the beneficiary,photo copy of my resident card,our car insurances but our car title is in our separate name,his life insurance where i am the beneficiary,and the 2009 and 2010 joint federal tax,we don't have kids,so now i dont know if the evidences i submitted is enough..sigh..Lol.My husband told me relax.Yay..Ahahaha!Have a nice weekends April Filers.And Happy Mother's Day to those mother outthere.

My Noa dated 5/2 but it came from VSC,i received it today.

Received my NOA in the mail today,dated May 2.

Reading about this topic made me worried now coz i just sent one copy of our joint bank account the recent month April,but since i got here he included me on his bank account after we got married,but along with that bank statement i submitted also our joint federal tax from 2009 to 2010,and him as my beneficiary on my 401k,car insurance together,and i am a beneficiary too to his life insurance.Do i have to worry for an RFE?Just asking..Thanks so much.

Hmmn we will see 15 years from now,my husband don't like my idea though(retiring in the Phils) but he like to visit in the Phils. every now and then but retiring there is not in our plan yet,but we do have plan to have a small house in a nice subdivision while were on vacation for months someday,as of now we're both working hard to pay off our house sooner than later.LOL...

I am working and i can send money in the Phils. as much as i want to:).My husband can't dictate me how much money should i send:).I can do shopping what i want,I pay my car and some bills so he should be happy that i am helping,anyways each one is different:).Happy New Year Everyone:)

Just an update,interview went well,smooth and easy,the black american interviewd us was very nice.She took some of our wedding pics and joint accounts and insurances,and then she said we're approved.She said i will wait for 4 weeks and i will receive my card in the mail and explained to my husband when to file the removal of conditions.She also took my 1-94 and EAD,but not my Advance Parole.For now,i will concentrate with my work and THANKS to all of you peeps in here specially CINO whose always their to give us informations when we needed it most .Speedy process for those still waiting.
