  1. I also just wanted to note that I had an ESTA and tried to visit while pregnant.. I was denied entry and as they do not tell you why I can't say if that was why but I can say getting to the plane then being refused at the gate and being stranded in an airport while pregnant and alone was not fun.
  2. @yuyul I have been told that we both have to be there. (I think that they will sometimes accept a letter though). Our daughter is currently 5 months and as my partner had to go back to the US we still have not been able to do it yet. You need the birth certificate but it's advised to do everything ASAP. We are hoping to do it on his next visit. When you get the CRBA you can also apply for a passport which is needed to travel/fly anyway. You can also get a SSN. I cannot answer as to any issues flying as I don't have a visa yet. However I have read that having all relevant information is best in case of any problems.
  3. I just want to say... Firstly congratulations! From experience we got pregnant, I had the baby in my home country and its possible to get the baby registered as a US citizen. It will probably be easier for you because you guys are married. I'll be honest it was not great doing Pregnancy by myself but my partner came over for the birth and I'm sure that would be doable for you guys! Just remember to look after yourself as much as you can, try not to stress too much about the situation And try to plan things as early as possible.
