  1. Hi guys, just back checking to see how everyone is holding up. I miss,my husband so much some days I don't know if I'm coming or going, and after awhile no one cares to hear you whine anymore. So i try hard to put on a happy face though I'm sad inside. I am getting discouraged I was initially happy that I was at csc because Vermont had the rep for being slower, well all I can say is karma is a ###### becuz vsc is ahead by a month and a half. I know it soon come, nut patience is not my strong point!

  2. You do not have to stop in either city. You just need to find which city closest to you is your point of entry. For example, I live in Michigan so I would fly into Detroit as my point of entry, even though a smaller local airport may be closer to where I live. But Detroit is the point of entry for people coming into the state of Michigan. Hope this helps:-)

  3. ok i have ?, does csc sort the a__lications by country..cause 31 days is awesome!!! or do they just sort them as they come in and then go to the country of its destination.... its hard to convey my thoughts as some of my keys on this com_uter dont work so i am trying to say it so you all get the gist>>>

  4. SEEMS TO ME AS IF OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS THERE ARE QUITE A FEW DENIALS, BE IT FIANCEE VISAS, MARRIAGE VISAS, FAMILY VISA'S OR VISITING VISAS...WHAT GIVES  ..MANY OF THE FILERS SEEM TO BE ADEQUATELY READY WITH ENOUGH DOCUMENTATION AND EVIDENCE,TO SINK A BOAT...BE DAMNED MANY OF THEM MAY HAVE THE KITCHEN SINK WITH THEM AT THERE INTERVIEWS AND YET DAY AFTER DAY I SEEM VISA DENIED ON THIS DAMN SIGHT!!! NOW I HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO KNOW THAT WE WILL NEVER DEFINITIVELY KNOW THE REASONS FOR SOME OF THESE DENIALS, AND YESSSSSS I AM AWARE THIS IS A HIGH FRAUD COUNTRY, FOR ANYONE WHO IS IM SURE GONNA USE AS A JUSTIFICATION.... ..BUT for many, these denials only serve to increase our anxiety as we get closer to our interview dates!!!!

anyone care to give a thought or two on this, or share your theory?

  5. Mine will be a month next wednesday..an my time frame is end of se_tember to first week of october waiting for noa2...lord i want my husband here with me..lol

ok so lil side chat..last night i had a mini melt down crying fit becuz all these damn denials coming out of jamaica have me stressed :crying: ..so anyway i asked hubby what is our backu_ _lan if he gets denied...he said its to soon to worry about that an were not gonna get denied..WRONG ANSA!!!! anyway i was just looking for a little reassurance on his end..so i had a crying fit...this LDR at times really takes a toll on me...

    Can anyone else relate?lol

  7. Hey guys thanks for continuing to share your journey with me.. i have been with my husband 2 years and married 2 and 1/2 months so i am BEYOND ready for this journey to get ROLLING... i am guilty of looking at the uscis website more than i care to mention and RYAN is correct...nuttin na gwaan over dere...lol.. anyhoo...call it crazy or OCD, but every visit to my husband which is roughly every six to eight weeks, im taking forms with me, trying to ensure that we will be adequately ready, i DONT wanna deal with the JA mail system at all..LOL..

anyhoo continue to give u_dates.. im learning as we go....HAVE a great Holiday weekend everyone!!!!

  8. Ok, your a tad confused, i see. YOU dont get a VISA before the interview, so you dont have to worry about it ex_iring. All timelines are different, but from what i can see as directly relates to me, it is taking close to four and a half months from uscis to nvc, then nvc to interview date seems to be around another two and half to three months, making the grand total around 7 to eight months.

Anyway,if your doing k1, it is valid for i believe six months after issuance..i could be wrong, is so im sure someone will correct me

  9. Hey Guys,

Well our case was forwarded to NVC by CSC and its been 3 weeks already. I know the letter my Fiance got in the mail said 1 month but I'm still a little worried. I've been reading about roughly how long it will take for me to get an interview date and stuff like that BUT isn't your petition only vaild for 4 months!? I'm a little worried It's going to expire before I even get a chance to do my interview! I hear that once the NVC gets it they process it and it can take up to 1 month, then sending it away to my U.S consulate can also take up to a month and then the interview date.. 1 month, add a little bit extra postage time for my stuff to go to the consulate.. It cuts it a little thin, I'm just quite concerned. I've done my medical already (w/o) case number and got the Police Certificate.

    AHHH!

Anyone others can maybe give me their recent timeline for NVC and mailing to consulate ect?

    THANKS!!

  10. Saw my husband on a jamaican christian dating site. (He had no clue I was living in Jamaica and he is so not a computer person). his sister-in law created a profile for him and he sent me a message (first girl he saw on the page with face picture).

Anyway, a month passed and I ignored his cordial messages. (Was not ready for no long distance r/ship).

A month later when I went to delete my profile cause I could not bother with that dormant site anymore, I saw the message still inbox, looked at his pic and sure nuff he was christian (dressed like one too). told him I will delete my page soon so he should send me IM or his #.

A week later he sent me his #.

I called him that night 2009 (he had no clue it was me until next day I sent him pictures). Turned out he is from my neighborhood back in Portmore. We grew up together. And he attends my sisters' church.

Told my sister to check him out. They met. Said he was a good decent christian man and she and him became good friends. She gave me the ok.

Fly to Jamaica about 3 months later and went on a date. Never ever ever looked back. Talked every single day.

Asked me to marry him 3 times. On 3rd time I saw he was serious and though our relationship was young, I said yes. NO REGRETS!

I flew home every 2-3 months since then.

    We got married 2/2011.

    I married the BEST MAN!

Waiting on Approval letter from NVC now.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thanks to digicel so we could maintain out LDR. Very difficult but we love each other so much and miss each other liek crazy.

God will work it out though. cause what God has joined together, no man can put asunder.

VEry sweet, congrats, and wishing you lots of luck in this journey, this visa thang nuh easy

  12. @ Davis1, im not sitting on the internet doing ish but minding my business, you act as if someone has something to hide, in reference to the comment you made, about make those statements to the CO.Pleeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze, your entitled to your opinions and im entitled to mine, my point is it infuriates me when people make generalized statements about a race or culture as a whole. I assume since you have time to point out all of the things you want to highlight, that you are above reproach, or you dont associate with any one who has ever smoked,....
