  1. I did my I-485 interview at the Fairfax office, which is the Washington, DC field office. So I’m assuming that the N-400 interview will be at the same location.
  2. The notice was from NBC. I was just mentioning that I’m with the Washington, DC field office. Anyway, it’s nice to know there’s someone else from the same region and field office.
  3. I submitted my N-400 online today (Feb 9) under the 5-year rule, filing approximately 90 days before my 5-year anniversary and received my Receipt Notice immediately. My case is with the Washington, DC field office. Fingers crossed it doesn’t take too long—this is the final step toward citizenship 🤞
  4. Thank you, @OldUser! I do have informed delivery, will keep an eye out.
  5. Thank you for responding! I feel a little better now knowing that the official documentation states I can re-enter using my expired card and extension letter. That definitely puts my mind at ease.
  6. Looks like my I-751 journey has come to an end. I got “New Card Is Being Produced” notification today. here is my timeline:
  7. I’ve been a silent reader, and this forum has been incredibly helpful in preparing for applications, gathering the necessary evidence, and tracking application progress. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for sharing their experiences and feedback; it has definitely helped people like me. I submitted my application on February 9, 2023, and today (on a holiday?) I received a notification that a new card is being produced. I’m not sure whether to feel excited or worried because I’m flying out of the country tomorrow and will return on the 26th of October. I’m uncertain if I can still use my expired card and extension letter to re-enter the country after the new card has been issued. Any insights from similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
