; ; Jippiee.. we received a letter from the Ombudsman & the Office provided an analysis of the issue to make USCIS aware of our situation related to our inquiry. USCIS commited to providing a respons to us within 45 calender days..... atleast it's something!!

ANOTHER week came and went with nothing. Almost eight months with nothing. Got a letter from USCIS today saying that a decision cannot be made because the required background investigation into us is still open. Ironic, considering neither my fiance or I have any criminal background whatsoever - not even a speeding ticket! Guess he won't be here by my birthday like I hoped..

; OMFGosh!!! Aaron and I just spoke to a TIER2 person, and you know what they said?? We have to wait until 4th of JULY!!! USCIS got a response from Vermont, that they need 30 more extra days!! That would be over 8 months since we received our NOA1!!!!!!!! This is f*cking ridiculous!! Excuse me for my language, I'm just pisssed!!

I see on the "timeline" that someone who filed a month and a half AFTER I did - and who got an RFE three days AFTER us....just got approved. How is that even fair? Can't USCIS process cases in order!? Seriously, almost ALL hope is lost at this point.

220 days since NOA1 - 7.5 months. Broken down, frustrated, and feeling helpless. About ready to give up on the American Dream and head back to Mexico....what did we do to be made to wait this long? I paid my money - more than those who filed after Nov and are approved way before me. Our immigration system is so broken.
