Did you later hear back from them and how many weeks?

Nope, they kept updating my case with no feedback. My fiancé came over in Feb we wrote them and told them he is in the country incase they want to interview us. They wrote to us inviting us for an interview which went well we believe, we were interviewed separately though. they said they would get back to us but we are still waiting they have updated my case like 4 times since Feb., so i honestly dnt know.

  2. @Yareth processes of the pertaining our relationship or generally embassy processes? They gave me back my passport, though it seemed to be the norm with other people who were missing simple documents, One guy i interviewed with was told to send a missing document, n his passport was given back, though he was able to get the document the next day, sent it over together with his passport, and got his visa within a week.

  3. Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding my recent K1 visa interview. I was given a 221(g) form, but no additional documents were requested. During the interview, the consular officer asked if I had a particular police certificate other than the one (i submitted the one their embassy website lists as a requirement, though my country has different criminal record certificates)

After the interview, she informed me that my case would undergo administrative processing and that I should wait to hear from the embassy. For your information, she asked basic questions about me and my fiancé, which I answered correctly, but didn't request any evidence or proof of our relationship.

It's been nearly three weeks since the interview. I've been checking the CEAC status updates, and it has only been updated twice. My question is: Should I go ahead and submit proof of the relationship and the additional police certificate ( i got it after the interview just incase), even though they didn't ask for them? Or would that be a bad idea?

By the way, this was at the Kigali Consulate.
