  1. Hello! I need some advises about my situation. My case was approved March 20th,2025 and will expire July 20th,2025. I received NO2 on April 4th,2025. As today, the case is still with USCIS. The case is not transferred yet to NVC. On May 8th, I called USCIS to follow up with the case. I was told to call 60 days after the approval date (March 20th). On May 20th, I called USCIS again and this time I was told to follow up after 90 days from the approval date. On June 20th, I called back USCIS and I was told to follow up after 120 days from the approval date; which will be July 20th (Date my approval notice will expire). On June 18th, I asked my congressman to submit an inquiry on my behalf. I called the congressman office today and I was told that they are still waiting USCIS to reply to back. I am really confused now. The approval notice will expire in few days and this case is still not transferred to NVC. Is there something else that I could have done to get my case moved to NVC? Any advises are welcomed. Thank you.
  2. I really don't know what is going on with USCIS now. My case was approved on March 20th and is still waiting to be sent to NVC. At the beginning of May and last week; I reached out to USCIS. I was told both times to follow up after 90 days. I will reach out to them back after June 20th. Hopefully something can be done before June 20th. Fingers crossed.
  3. That is what I will do. Will spend this weekend to learn about the next process. Will come back here when I have more questions. Thank you.
  4. There is nothing particular about my case. Like I said; We (Fiancé and I) do not have any special circumstances. I am just worried about these new immigration policies.
  5. I do not have any special circumstances. I am just scared about new immigration policies that White House administration signs everyday. Thank you for your advise.
  6. Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Everyone My fiancé petition was approved last month (No RFE). I got a help from one immigration attorney who charged me $2500. Today I called the office to know how they can help me with the next steps of the process. I was told to pay $1500; so they can help me with everything with NVC and Embassy stages. After this stage (NVC and Embassy), they will charge me $3800 for AOS when my fiancé gets here in USA if she gets the VISA. I was told that filling DS160 to schedule interview is really sensitive and needs to be done with precautions. My question is that: Do I really need help from immigration's attorney for the next step? This is a lot of money without the govt fees. Any advise is welcomed. Thank you.
