Just wanna update you guys that i finally got my NOA2 few days ago, it took me almost 7 mos to have it. Hope no more december filers are waiting for their NOA2. Congrats and Goodluck............

my fiance and I known each other for 1 year now. He usually stays here for 12-14 days but he visits me more often. 5 times a year. He filed petition on his 2nd trip here.....

hello, iam still speechless, after almost 7 mos of waiting and no touched, i finally got my NOA2...... When i checked my mail, i saw an email from CRIS and im so nervous to open it but after reading, it makes me so happy to see that its an approval notice............For those who still waiting for NOA2, as what others always says, Hang in there and dont lose hope, your NOA2 will be coming ur way soon.............. Thanks God!!....

My fiance called the USCIS Customer Service line and the recorded message after he put in our Receipt # was that they sent out a I797 and to follow the directions on it. I looked up I797 and found out it was also known as a NOA2 or an Approval notice.... All hard copy goes to our attorney, unfortunately they moving their office now and asked for 1-2 days to look up in their file ifalready got our hard copy. I havent received any email notification from uscis saying our case has been approved but iam hoping that our NOA2 is on our way now and hopefully NVC received it already. USCIS website says, our case is still pending and last updated 12-30-07.

Can someone tell me that I-797 is really NOA2???? Thanks........

I-797 is ANY Notice of Action. Could be receipt, approval or denial etc.
