Hi. me and my daughter had the medical in the Philippines, right now we are going to file for AOS.. i have the copy of the vaccination supplement..In the vaccination results they checked "VACCINE HISTORY INCOMPLETE" AND "APPLICANT MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR BLANKET WAIVER(S) BEACUSE VACCINATIO(S) NOT MEDICALLY APPROPRIATE (AS INDICATED ABOVE)). But they gave me 2 shots during the medical the (Td/Tdap) and the MMR and the rest are "NOT AGE APPROPRIATE" except for the Varicella (VH). And on the Tdap column they checked "INSUFFICIENT TIME INTERVAL" so i am thinking i need a follow up shot for Td or Tdap. My question is.. do i still need to complete the I-693 since my vaccination is incomplete? should i go to the civil surgeon near my area to have this complete? The other day i called one of them and they are telling me that i need a full medical.. what do i do? does my daughter need another medical too? Since her vaccination supplement says the same thing as mine but hers got no check in the "Insuffiecient time interval" just the "Age Not Appropriate" Im pretty sure that are medical is still less than a year. find a different CS as many are not familiar with the "K" situation of the foreign medical being valid for up to one year.

Ok. Thanks.. but i read lots about this Dr. Arnolds from Texas.. Can i just go to the health service in our area and have them give me shot and send to Dr. Arnolds that i had the shot from here.. can he still transcbribe it for me? i mean for the I-693 to be complete?

Rutherford.. "A" number found in I-129F Approval Notice and the "A" number written at the back of the I-94 (written by the consular officer at POE) are the same exact number. I just noticed

your math should have been $1610 not $1060... but disregard, do separate fee payments (two case files. two checks)

hi all i got a question.. been in US for 6 months now through K1/K2.. got married and got ssn.. but we havent apply for adjustment of status yet.. just wondering is there any expiration or just a span of time for applying AOS? till when then? any answer will be much appreciated. tyvm

Hi Vjers! Me and my daughter will be leaving for US on February..we are on K1/K2 Visas. I know there's a thread here regarding POE experiences.. I have read it.. And all i see are those who shared their experiences coming from different countries.. I haven't seen one coming from Philippines.. If anyone here who had POE in Chicago, IL- Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) please share me your experience.. I just want to know how many minutes will i need to get through all the immigration process at the airport before boarding the next plane to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I'll arrive in ORD 3:55pm and my next departure time going to Grand Rapids is at 5:50pm. Do you think 1 hr and 55 minutes are enough time to finish the immigration process?? How many minutes or hours do i need to check-in on the next flight? I'll be changing plane when i get to ORD to Grand Rapids. Any reply will be highly appreciated. Thank You so much -Karol

Thanks for this site, it help a lot for the journey of my visa. I had my interview last Nov. 17 2008 and submit my additional documents last Dec. 23 then by Jan. 5 text me that they are preparing my visa to dispatch. Jan. 6 delivered my visa but i was out of town i just got back from bikol Jan. My neighbor said the guy left a phone number whenever im available i can call him to deliver my visa. And the happiest moment i just got my visa today...

Congratulations! Had my interview last nov. 17 also and submitted additional document last dec. 11 and i got my visa today too..

I always buy plane tickets online. If your husband buy ticket online from the US or anywhere else.. what you have to do is get the email confirmation # that will be sent to you by the airline company where you purchased the ticket.

Then at the airport you can claim your plane ticket by showing them the email confirmation #.That's how simple it is.

Ahhh ok.. i heard when you purchased online, travel tax and terminal tax are excluded. So you mean to say, i am going to pay those taxes at the airport?? One thing more, if you bought ticket online and it shows the price does include the other tax?? i just dont know what tax that is.

Just want to ask you, looks like you jsut got you interview at the manila embassy late. Upon reading the forums here, I found out that document verification is no longer required (some earlier applicants has to pay Delbros before) Does you fiance have to pay this?

My fiance just called the USEmbassy to check our status and they said that it was approved and for printing.. so we are expecting the Visa anytime soon... Now, i wanted to ask for any suggestions where to buy the ticket (travel agency) in Manila.. Thanks so much.. God is so good!

Hi I did pay the document verification last October before my interview.. but there's no guarantee that it wasn't a requirement anymore since no one from USEmbassy confirmed about it when i was there for my interview, but they didn't ask the receipt from me.. i only heard about it is from here (vj).. Congradulations on visa. We just purchased tickets direct from the airlines, but not in Manila, we purchased in General Santos, The only problem we had was the ticket office there had been closed for the holidays and we couldnt buy the tickets until Jan 5, but we got tickets on the date we wanted and Radz flys out on Jan 14. Sorry cant be of any help with purchasing from a travel agency. Good Luck

And one thing more.. what if the biodad will send me the consent and of course it will be notarized from the US then the CO will found out that the biodad is a legal permanent resident in US.. will it affect the situation? should i consider getting another possible document from the biodad asked by the CO? Or since he isnt USC yet, will the letter of consent be enough? are they just want to have a proof that the biodad allowed our daughter to immigrate. Or should i just prepare an affidavit stating that the biodad in not cooperating? ggeeez i really dont know what to do pls help me thanks so much.

Oh,we had an agency from Nevada whom we thought will help us all the way(but they did not).They suggest us to get my kids father's consent letter which i refused,Why would i?he certainly abonded my kids.Not fair huh?you raised your kid and now the good future of your daughter is being sacrificed because of someones irresponsibility.he's current residency is i dont think a threat..Goodluck

Finally i get to talked to the biodad and he is willing to cooperate and will send the letter of consent as soon as possible.. and it is confirmed that the petition of his mom for him gets approved and now he's living there as Legal Permanent Resident as status for 2 1/2 years now. And now.. i hope when i get to submit the consent i hope CO wont ask anything again when she gets to find out that the biodad is in the US too, that's the only thing im afraid of. I am thinking the other side of it.. what if i'll just file an abandonment? I really don't know what's the right thing to do. But i've talked to a lawyer and she advised me that it's better to send the consent since i get to find the biodad and willing to cooperate and forget the crazy thinking about his status in the US. Nothing else we can do but to tell the truth and if CO asked for something then so be it need to comply with it and go through the process and wait. Well i guess that's it.. I just hope the consent will be enough. And i trust the Lord, I know He's beside me always.

No.. the biodad and i never get married at all. And my daughter is carrying my family name.. it's just happened that he signed the acknowledgement of paternity. So the CO asked me to send the "letter of consent to immigrate from derivative biodad" for our daughter. As I can see it, the CO just dont want to get us in trouble in time when the biodad will find out that i brought her daughter without his consent and since he was signed in the BC, he has the right to sue me for that. And to make things more complicated.. i just found out from his brother ( good thing they are still alive lol ) that the biodad is now residing in New Jersey as petitioned by his mom and now a greencard holder (Legal Permanent Resident) and i was like WOW! (Actually i know about that petition eversince and that's one of the reasons why we didnt get married before (GOOD THING!) but in time we broke up i never hear anything from him nor from his family at all, our daughter never see or meet him in person.. only in picture) Good thing his brother gave me his contact number in the US but been trying to call him and still no one is answering! grrrrr but im sure as soon as i talked to him he is willing to send me the consent..he should be!!!! He runined my life and im sure he doesnt want to ruin his daughter's future too. Not again! But if he wont cooperate.. i guess nothing i can do but to file an abandonment or any opinion from you guys that i can do about my case? any help or suggestions will be highly appreciated. thanks.
