  1. Are K3's entered into NVC system or are they sent straight to embassy without being seen in NVC Automated Voice Response (AVR)?

I read somewhere else that the K1's are not entered and do not show up into the NVC AVR system? I'm wondering if this applies to I-129F as well...

    Thanks for your help!

Just found an answer to my question... Sorry for the redundant post and for not posting in NVC forum...

    QUOTE:

My husband called NVC and talked to a live person , he gave reciept no# for I-129 f and then they gave MNL case no.#

just to make sure I called the NVC automated message and press the case no# for I-129F ,the automated voice message said they don't have the record for that case, i even press the I-129 F receipt number.

but when i checked for the the I-130 ,the automated message have my case no.#

is this only an error to their system?

so im confused if im gonna call the embassy for 129-f (k3) visa appointment.

  2. Good luck JimAndCarol hopefully an approval is coming soon! ;)

    I-130 still pending...

Thanks SraCastillo and THANK YOU VSC!!!

I am scheduled to leave Fiji this afternoon and return to the States to get things in order for us there.

Here is the link to the detailed one.

Links to both the Detailed and Simple spreadsheets have been updated for both VSC & CSC....

Thanks for the updates. Thanks Longbranch for the help with CSC. And thanks Birch-Beer for the offer to take over updating VSC, as I am preparing to return to the States next week... If anyone is interested in helping maintain CSC updates, let me know.

    Good luck everyone!

Yes, I will send an update tonight.... Thanks!

  5. Looking through the spreadsheet for VSC K-3, something caught my attention. I was looking at the touches. I see "groups" of touches. I see alot between 5/2 and 5/7. Then they seem to disappear until 6/16 thru 6/23 then disappear again. I've read posts on here that they work on one type of petition for awhile, and then a different type for awhile. This data seems to support that, unless they get 5 week vacations. I know I'm probably gonna drive myself crazy trying to make sense out of all this, but I have nothing better to do. Wonder if the K-1s and IR-1/CR-1s show touches in those 5 weeks.

I noticed the same thing about the 5/2 through 5/7 touches, seeing as I'm included. I've been trying to make sense of it...I've also noticed a couple of people getting approvals that had touches during this time... (Heaven, Briff2000), and Cuppa just got an RFE... Again, probably wishful thinking on my part... But would like to think they are moving on these...

  6. Here is the link to the simple one.

Here is the link to the detailed one.

    Links have been updated.

Based on some recommendations yesterday, I have revised the spreadsheets. I mainly worked on VSC today, but I will also look at CSC. (Thanks Longbranch for your help yesterday.)

I have filtered out any unapproved members that have not been on VJ in the past month (or I simply cannot locate them on VJ anymore). The only spreadsheet where these "excluded" members will appear is on the "VSC by Approval" spreadsheet in RED. If any of these RED members should reappear, I can easily add them back in... We are just trying to get a more accurate idea of approval times and filter out those members who may have received an approval and forgot to upddate their VJ timeline...How dare they!

    Thanks for your continued suggestions.

    -Carol

  7. Got some free time waiting for some quotes to come in, mind if I help search?

No, not at all :) By all means, knock yourself out...

Since you're CSC, maybe you can help fill in some of the CSC blanks as far as "member" name and "last seen"...

Thanks so much for the offer!!!

Got half a dozen already. You want a PM with them after a certain number? I had written a smart ### reply but remembered my humor doesnot suit all. You need a little help after all of this.

1 mo' you want last seen or last updated?

Sure, PM works, I will update the spreadsheet as soon as I receive it. You can send it whenever you feel like it... (every 10 or so, or whatever works for you)...

Yes... My husband says I am too sensitive, so thanks for the *kind* reply...

If you can provide the last seen date (not last updated)... then I will add them to the "last seen" column in the spreadsheet... and subsequently filter out the ones who haven't been on VJ in over a month...

    Thanks again for your help!

  8. Thats great Jim. I tried too, also looking through the names and trying to find them and didnt have much luck either. Perhaps one of the moderators who have been around for a while would know how to do this...I'l keep looking to see if there is a method to find these....

I think once the no-shows have been filtered out, the amount of those actually having something done to their cases may look more promising to us.................I hope..:P

Ok, I took a first cut at this. I added the "Last Seen" column to the "VSC by Approval Date" worksheet in the "Detailed" link. I eliminated 4 member entries that have not been online in over 1 month. You can see the ones I have excluded in "red" in the "VSC by Approval Date" spreadsheet.

These members will not show up on any other worksheet, as I have deleted them. However, I will keep them in the "VSC by Approval Date" spreadsheet in "red" so you can see who I have eliminated.

If you feel like 1 month is not a good elimination filter, then let me know and I can adjust.

I can do the same exercise with the remaining VSC entries and the CSC entries as soon as I receive member names for the blanks... I may do a little digging for these too...

    Thanks again for your suggestions.

  9. You are right. I was wondering the same thing. Particularly for VSC December filers who have not been approved yet, since those are who VSC seems to be moving through now... I, like you, am wondering if people received their approval and then never checked back in with VJ again to update their timeline.

I checked on those that are not approved yet. Two of them were last seen 6/15 and 6/24. Also, I cannot find three of them. I wrote these notes in the "Simple" sheet. If anyone has any information they can add to make this more accurate, please post.

    JimAndCarol -

What do you think about, something along the lines of, if someone hasnt checked in, for say, the last 60 days, removing them from the chart? That is if there info wasnt completed.

I think those members who have created their account, started their timelines, then disapeared, I dont want to say contaminate, but render the statistics less than true.

IF they check back in and want to be included, then can do so....

Its much like a chemistry experiment and trying to keep out the contaminants..:) for a truer result.

It'd be still more work and having to go back and see who's been online in thel last 2 months...

Although it wouldn't be too bad as those with no touches and/or approvals in the last 60 days would only need to be checked.

The last thing I want to do is make more work......especially with all the work put into it....

LOL, you are talking my language now (ChemE major here). I could feel myself getting excited thinking way back to the distillation column experiement in Organic Chemistry Lab, trying to get the purest result... But I digress...

Yes, you are absolutlely right, and yes, it is a lot of work. There are two steps in the process:

    1. Find out the "member" names for all the missing blanks. The VJ timeline provides the husband/wife name, but for the screen names, I have to look those up.... That's why I was saying in my last post that "I cannot find three of the December filers"...

    2. Once I have the "member" name, check the last updated date for those who have not been approved or no have had no recent touches... I can add a column for "member last seen" or something to that effect.... I can filter out the ones that have not been online in over 60 months (if not approved already)...

    How can you help???

If you see your husband/wife name on the spreadsheet but the "member" name is blank, could you please send me your "member" name so I can fill in the information.... It is quite time consuming to go searching for the "member" name in here... unless there is an easier way that I am not aware of... (aka, you cannot search by husband/wife name; you have to search by K-3, VSC, Country.. and then check all the profiles that come up)

Thanks Birch for the suggestions. I will definitely incorporate your idea.

  10. Hi everyone...I would want to understand better about it:

    K3 visa historical processing times

    129F NOA1 to NOA2 VSC for K3 visas: 129F`s with an NOA1 of roughly 67 days

ago (May 2, 2008) are being processing.

Last week was April 24, 2008.

So, that date May 2, 2008 mean USCIS are processing all 129F since that date? I started my 129F in May 13, 2008...sooner I`ll get some answer???

    I`ll appreciate all replies

    Thanks

Don't hold your breath just yet.

The numbers seem to be skewed by CSC approving K3 visas faster than VSC.

We're coming up on 5 months since I130 was received, we're still waiting, and we're not alone.

Vermont seems to really be dragging for K-3s. I wouldn't pay any attention to what USCIS is posting on their site for processing times. They update it about the 15th every month. From what I've seen so far, they just seem to add 30 days from the previous month. Also, the graphs on this website don't seem right for some reason, not sure why. You can get what I consider valid data one of two ways.

    1. Manually do a search on the timelines listed on this website. It's not exactly perfect since some people don't update their timelines, but I think it's pretty close. This can be a little time consuming.

    2. Go to the following spreadsheet that a member here was nice enough compile. Jim and Delicia I think. I consider this to be the most accurate trending data that I have found anywhere on the internet. Unfortunately, you seem to be in the same boat I am, namely K-3 at Vermont. For some reason, they don't seem to be doing much with them right now. Hopefully it improves soon.

OOPS! Sorry. Jim and Carol. My bad. Was 50% right.

LOL. No worries. Delicia was our inspiration... :)

  11. This is a great spreadsheet. I really like to use to guage when VSC "might" get to our case.

I was wondering though, how those members listed, havent checked into VJ and/or havent updated their timelines in months. Dont you think this has a bearing on the doc. ?

    Just a thought

  12. Hello Jim and Carol! Kindly add us to your list please, Wilyn and Richard. How will you know you have been "touched"??

Thank you so much and more power!

    Hey sassy girl,

    Thanks for your message...

Please fill in your timeline. You can do this by clicking on "Immigration Timelines" at the top of this page. Then go to "Edit/ Add my entry" where it says TIMELINE FUNCTIONS. This helps to add your information easily.

You can tell if you have been "touched" by checking the www.uscis.gov site. After you login, if the "Last Updated" date has changed, then you know someone has "touched" your file, which hopefully is a good thing.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to send me a private message.
