  1. I had tis happen to me last year. I needed proof of income of some sorts. I called 333, and had them connected to IRS. I wasn't near an internet so couldnt find out how to reach IRS. I spoke to the rep, she was very helpful and kind. I got the addressof my local IRS office. I visited there and told them I needed a copy of my IRS (proof of income). They gave me copies of my reported income that was all stamped officially by IRS. Try it and find out about the local office, and they will give you the copies. They dont give you hard copies of the for you submitted, ie, if you submitted 1040A, you dont get the copy of it. You get a summary of reported data on IRS official sheet of paper (1 page long).

  2. VSC received our case sept. 21, 2007. a friend of mine who is an oct filer was already approved may 4th. so i had my senator inquire VSC dated May 20 in the morning and had a reply from VSC that afternoon. i had mentioned to the senator about my friend's approval.

this is the email reply from VSC..."the petition was received at this office on 9/21/07 and we are currently processing immediate relative I-130 petitions received at this office on 7/30/07. the friend may have just gotten lucky and may have been randomly selected for a new officer training case."

so is that full of ####### or what? then why didn't they selected the ones that were earlier. my atty said that she has received a few 2008 filers as late as march who were already approved. so i guess they are the lucky ones also. what is the freaking point of the fee increase. it made it longer. they are really covering their butts by not changing the processing time. the senator can't really do anything because it's still within the processing time.

The whole process is a scam, I tell you. They sure like to cash checks early and then forget about it. I met my congressman also and told the same thing that many case of ahead of me are already approved. The people in his office were very helpful, but said whoever tells me they got approval ahead of me are lying. I didnt want to argue. I dont know...with this kind of snail paced, bandaged INS system, we have only hope to live by. Why wont Vermont move.... damn it....even one day of moving ahead of stoooopid july 30 date bring brink of new hope in many of us.

  3. I wonder how far can human emotion go, until explosion!

seriously bad for relationship. My wifey and I find ourselves so frustrated at times. We are imploding and exploting all at the same time. Sad ....my bro, who is also a US itizen, got married 3 years ago in Pakistan, and brought his wife here on I-130 in only 10 months. I am now into 11th month with only a stooopid receipt.... Sometimes my bro tells me how lucky he and his wife are. At that moment, I feel like punching him in the face.

  4. I wonder if they'll deny him an entry visa when he goes on that holiday to Europe: that would be hilarious!

What would be hilarious would be watching America's Funniest Home Videos and seeing me kick him in the nuts.

that too lenient. lets seperate him from his most loved one, be it his kid/wife or a parent etc....lets say for 16-18 months.... he didnt have the ballz to admit even a single shortcoming. To him USCIS is efficient as a gold standard. muahahah....jerk.
