    Hello Everyone, I just wat to say thanks to everyone for all your input and help during our first phase of the process. My fiancé had his interview Aug 15th, 2024 and was approved. We are waiting for notification to get his visa picked up. Good luck to those still waiting on their approval.

    Hello there, Thank you for your response. That was my main concern. Most of the timelines I see get their packet 4 either same day or next day. The whole process with the packet 3 has been so confusing with the consulate sending a wrong instruction/ form which threw us off. Just like you said, it is consulate dependent. Visa fee has been paid we have scheduled the interview and medical for August. Thanks again and congrats on your approval.

    Hello All, I'm still waiting for any imput on when you receive the packet. When do you do the medical? Do you do it after you receive packet 3 or packet 4? Thanks

    Hello Everyone, How long after packet 3 do you get packet 4? We got our packet 3 July 10, but unfortunately the consulate sent a wrong instruction. That was when I was inquiring about the DS 260 and I 864. I knew something was off because we couldn’t get a headway trying to fill the form. I emailed the consulate and the right packet 3 was resent yesterday. How long before they send packet 4 and who do they send it to? Thank you.

    I got my NOA1 Feb 9 and NOA2 May 17. You can always reach out if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer from our experience. Everyone on this forum does a great job helping people out. The whole process can be very overwhelming and nerve wrecking, but the support from everyone is comforting.

    Hello Everyone, Can I get some insight from Johannesburg filers about packet 3? We got our packet 3 today and experiencing some difficulties. My fiance already filled out the DS 160, but unable to proceed. K1 is non immigrant but won't let us do that under non immigration but when immigrant is checked, it goes through. Not sure if we were put under immigrant visa by the consulate because it requested DS 260 and I 864. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Hello Great Family, I just got out packet 3 today, but it is requesting DS- 260 and I 864. Is this normal? My understanding is that KS requires DS 160 and I 34. Thank you for your response
