Good luck for your interview. when did you receive your interview date? im still waiting for mine, send to dallas lockbox but i will be taking my test in the memphis office.

It was pretty fast.. Details on my interview dates and timelines are mentioned in my signature. They will send you an In-Line notification first and in a week or two after that they send you your actual Interview scheduled date latter in mail, which is usually a month or few weeks after. This can vary on processing times as well. Some sites that are not too busy are able to schedule you much quickly. I sent my paper work to Dallas Lock box and they were pretty good. I had my interview in San Antonio.

Got my Interview done yesterday on Feb 26th. It was pretty easy and I was done in less than and hour. As I have travel plans in less than a month I took the chance to request the Immigration Officer to expedite my Oath ceremony. She had me wait for 30 mins and came back with my Oath scheduled for March 19th. San Antonio is where I went and unfortunately they don't do same day Oath ceremonies like other cities.

Just checked my status online and it says, as of Jan 9th case is In-Line for an Interview process. Whoop!.. I better start studying for my civics test now.. lol!!.

Received my NOA1 in the mail on Dec 8th. Please update :-)

My receipt number says NBC* does that mean that my file is sent to the National Business Center (Missouri) ?. I wish there was a way to see the actual processing times somewhere!!!!!!

Question for you all: Whats the Yellow Letter? Does everyone gets or have to get a yellow letter ? I am curious!!

I made the error of not signing my form and it was returned to me last week ( must be half asleep while mailing it that I didn't check). I have never been this negligent ever in my life. Glad that it was just a small mistake. Read the form 3 times just to make sure of everything, signed and re-deliverd via usps on Nov 25th. It was finally delivered at the Dallas Lockbox yesterday Nov 27th. Now waiting for the NOA and check to be cashed. Phew!!!!

Yesterday I sent my N-400 package to the Dallas Lockbox. Now the wait begins.

So question for you as I am planning on applying for my Natralization soon..

I just got my 10 year green card this month. Was married on Feb 6th 2009. So on Feb 6th 2012 i'll complete 3 years in US married to the same spouse and happliy living together. Am I eligible to apply for naturalization? Also My family lives in canada and i vist them once a year for few days not more than 7-10 days being in canada, would that have any impact on my eligibility as they specified there has to be a continuous stay in US.. I am confused on this as around April 2012 me and my spouse are planning on visiting my family in canada not more than a weeks stay. Any additional information on this will be helpful..

So folks Here is the news... In reply to my RFE when i did not see any update on my case after almost 30 days, i checked the UPS website to see if they did deliver my papers to VSC which was shipped on Oct 17 and due for delivery on Oct 21st.. Their website still showed package not delivered and I freaked out. Called UPS customer service to put a tracking inquiry. GOD was watching over me and the Sr advisor at UPS put me on hold and got USCIS customer service rep on conference to find out if they got my RFE papers or not. To my surprise the officer stated that her system still does not show the details if the documents were received or not But as of NOV14th YOUR CASE HAVE BEEN APPROVED & card production has been ordered & approval notice has been sent in the mail.....Yeeaahhhhhhhhh!!!!! and that means they might have gotten the response to my RFE and then made their decison in my favor...... Excellent....... Thank GOD.... I can't thank enough coz this sure was a rough ride for me.

Thanks to all for your support... Now I am eagerly waiting for the card to arrive. They stated that it might take 1-2 months approximately for card delivery.....

aww. an RFE. did you send it back quickly with good supporting evidence that was specifically requested?? if so, i don't necessarily think it will add that much time.

We are in the same boat as you.. It took them 7+ months to ask for more evidence. I sent the Mortage papers and some additonal bank staements, Documents showing that we are undergoing Infertility treatments to become parents and tax returns for the current year. All that was sent in 1 week since we got the RFE.

Now iwe are just waiting for them to awake from their deep sleep to work on our pending cases. I also called the stupid uscis support knowing that they will be of no help.. but i still wnated to try and for the past god knows how many months they seem to be still processing cases from Feb 24th... Looks like they are stuck on that date. A month ago when i had called to inquire on my status that was before i got the RFE they were still processing Feb 24th.. This is seriously getting beyond annoying levels and we have no means to get that fixed. As a customer where your life decision are in some one else's hands frustrates you even more when they are sooooo incompetent & all you can do is wait.....

I am so stressed these days that I can't sleep and not been able to concentrate on anything... Don't know how long this will keep going...

C'mon VSC gear up and give us some good news.... People send some good juju my way...lol..... Good Luck to all those are waiting to hear good news just like me....

Sorry to read. What does the RFE letter say exactly? I think additional Tax papers will help. My first impression is that the volume of information is less. I think they like to see consistant relationship evidence for past 2 years/ time since marriage. For example "Joint credit card statement of Aug 2010" - did you provide only for 1 month?

So Unfortunaately i got an RFE in my mail on Oct 5th. I am so depressed on this.

This is what we had initially sent:

1.Joint Federal Income Tax returns for 2009.

2. Printout showing Me and my spouse are beneficiaries for eachothers retirement plans.

3. Joint car insurance from Jan 2011 through July 2011.

4. Joint credit card statement of Aug 2010.

5. Vangaurd investment printout showing that we have a joint account.

All this does not seem to be enough for them and now they have asked for more evidence gggrrrrrrr that is soooo ridiculous... My good luck should I say that just a month ago we bought a new house. So i guess I will be sending Joint mortgage papers in reply to this stupid RFE. will also send another joint tax return for 2010 & 2011.

My husband owned his condo prior to me coming to US and hence we did not have any joint lease docs for that, coz we owned the place. We also tried adding my name to the utility bills while we were still living on our old house and that was unsuccessful coz they ( utility dept) said that can't be done!!!!!

However now being in the new house for just over a month I can provide the new utility bill, mortgage papers showing both our names on it. What else can we do here? would these two docs suffice the need? has anyone else been in my shoes.. Any extra help will be appreciated.

I tried calling USCIS Customer Service to check on my case status and was unable to get a live person to talk to.. Is it that difficult to get hold of them??????.. I am So frustrated on this... any one have a better idea on this... My patience is running out lately...

Looks like its a long wait for all of us who are stuck with Vermont Service Center......They need to hire some fast workers from CSC.. LOL!!! to balance it out.....

Sorry for a delayed post. I did get my Biometrics done at Austin USCIS office.. Believe me it was the quickest Goverment process done ever. We were in and out in about 5 Mins. They got me in, I filled the form & in less then 2 minutes i was called for the photo and then fingerprints. All done in 5 mins....

Now waiting for the big good news soon.... Hope things are rollong good for all of you out there in the same process.
