I am just confuse what to put in the blank I am under K3 Visa process

    11. I intend do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnishroom and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lumpsum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.

    thank you all...

You could check "do not" or write "I'll support the beneficiary as my spouse." It really doesn't matter for a fiance or spouse.

    Thank You!!!!

HAS ANYONE HERE BEEN IN THE SAME EXACT SITUATION... WHAT DID YOU DO??? HOW DID YOU SECURE YOUR FOREGN CLEARANCE???

    PLEASE HELP!!!!! :crying:

    THAN; YOU...

  5. It depends on whether you still live there or not. Here is what it says from http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reciproc...city_3662.html:

Police clearances are available for Saudi citizens and resident third country nationals. Saudi citizens currently residing overseas must return in person to process the police clearance.

Saudi citizens and third country nationals residing in the Kingdom process the police clearances by first obtaining a police clearance request letter from U.S. Embassy Riyadh, U.S. Consulate General Jeddah, or U.S. Consulate General Dhahran. This police clearance request letter, signed by a consular officer, must be attested by the Saudi Ministry of Affairs (current fee is SR30). The applicant must then appear personally with a passport-sized photograph and a national ID or residency permit at the regional Criminal Investigation Department for fingerprinting. Fingerprinting for women is done in a separate room. The police clearance should be available for collection after a week or two.

Police clearances are available for Saudi nationals residing outside of the Kingdom. The expatriate Saudi citizen obtains the police clearance by returning to the Kingdom and obtaining a police clearance request letter from U.S. Embassy Riyadh, U.S. Consulate General Jeddah, or U.S. Consulate General Dhahran. This police clearance request letter, signed by a consular officer, must be attested by the Saudi Ministry of Affairs (current fee is SR30). The applicant must then appear personally with the attested police clearance request letter, a passport-sized photograph and a national ID at the Regional Criminal Investigation Department for fingerprinting. Fingerprinting for women is done in a separate room. The police clearance should be available for collection after a week or two.

Police clearances are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer reside in the Kingdom.

The optimal time to conduct these procedures at the police stations is 10:00 Saturdays-Wednesdays.

    Thank you.....

  6. hello Guys!!!!!

    Finally after 10months AAAAPPPROOOOOOOOOVEEED!!!!!!

    :dance: :dance: :dance::dance:

i can feel my heart... Thank God really... :innocent:

after receiving a letter last May 28,2008 telling us to wait 180days more.. i really don't expect this good news that my hubby told me just now..

but... please help don't know what to do first I will go for the I-129F what should I do... :help:

    thanks a lot...

for those who are still pending... hang on.. pray to God...

  7. so that news doesn't apply to the I-130/I-129F then? sorry about that.. I thought I get that "benefit" too :crying: so I'm still where I am now..

    Guys!!!

The way I understand that news is that AOS will be adjudicated regardless of pending Name Check if pending more than 180 days... but for the the rest will apply their target plan... for all name checks that are pending is expected to be completed June 2009 saying that by that time securty will be done only within 30 days... or 90 days :help:

lets just hope that this is not another lie from them.... like the K3 that is supposed to reunite husbands and/or wife of US citizen faster right? (WRONG!!!!!)

AND like the fee increase to make their service efficient and fast ( WRONG!!!):no:

USCIS AND FBI RELEASE JOINT PLAN TO ELIMINATE BACKLOG

    OF FBI NAME CHECKS

Partnership Establishes Series of Milestones To Complete Checks

WASHINGTON – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) today announced a joint plan to eliminate the backlog of name checks pending with the FBI.

USCIS and the FBI established a series of milestones prioritizing work based on the age of the pending name check. The FBI has already eliminated all name check cases pending more than four years.

“This plan of action is the product of a strong partnership between USCIS and the FBI to eliminate the backlogs and to strengthen national security,” said USCIS Director Emilio Gonzalez.

By increasing staff, expanding resources, and applying new business processes, the goal is to complete 98 percent of all name checks within 30 days. USCIS and the FBI intend to resolve the remaining two percent, which represent the most difficult name checks and require additional time to complete, within 90 days or less. The goal is to achieve and sustain these processing times by June 2009.

The joint plan will focus on resolving the oldest pending FBI name checks first. USCIS has also requested that the FBI prioritize resolution of approximately 29,800 pending name checks from naturalization applicants submitted to the FBI before May 2006 where the naturalization applicant was already interviewed.

The target milestones for processing name checks are:

    Completion Goal Category

    May 2008

Process all name checks pending more than three years

    July 2008

Process all name checks pending more than two years

    Nov. 2008

Process all name checks pending more than one year

    Feb. 2009

Process all name checks pending more than 180 days

    June 2009

Process 98 percent of all name checks within 30 days and process the remaining two percent within 90 days.

    – USCIS –

    hahahaha :lol::lol::lol::lol::rofl::rofl::wow::rofl:

  9. Didnt they eliminate FBI security checks?

    I don't think so.

    hello xumei,

can u please tell how did you make your WOM just incase i needed to file one. if you don't mind details... thank you :help::help:

  10. still nothing yet.. came back from my trip to China for 2 1/2 weeks =) yay.. the Demand letter was sent May 12.. so the USCIS has 30 days to respond..

    Direct from Lawyer:

"Once we received the above, we will issue the demand letter. The demand letter will instruct CIS to adjudicate your application within 30 days. If no response is received within 30 days, we will prepare to file the mandamus. The government has 60 days from the receiving the lawsuit to file their response. They are entitled to a 30 days extension. Basically it is at least 3-4 months to complete the process. "

for that, I pay $5500, but it will be worth it.. I hope that I really get approved soon.. I am sad and I miss her very much.. even after my recent trip there.. I wish that we could be together everyday.. for those of you that are together, you are lucky =) I am jealous...

    hello gogo,

    Hi ,

Go or send mail to senator or congressman to help . write down your case and your reason .

We have waited for approval from USCIC quite long . and nobody knew what was going on with our petition I-I30. and my Husband went to Senator Mc cain but it didnt work and he wrote to congressman , it worked 1 week after he wrote to them, USCIS sent him the status that there were trastranlation missing . Unfortunately everything was going to slow and stressfull :).

But you can still try better than waiting .

    hello divi

so sad really...we write the senator we are waiting for some replys... now... but really this long wait is so frustrating, stressfull not to mention so painful to be so far apart from your husband...

pardon me but i just want to know if your case ever been touched or updated during your wait or none at all...

what other action did you take that you think would help...please... thank you

  12. Yes, it happened to me... look at my timeline. If I were you, I would start to write letter to my Congressmen, Senator and even President Bush. You can also file a foipa request(freedom of information....) with the FBI, reqesting they give you information about your file. Do what I say and save thier responses, you would need them later. I ended up filing WOM, then my case was adjudicated, finally.

really it took you 19months.... was your file updated or touched often or whanothing at all...well we plan to file writ of mandamus soon... did you hire an attorney??? really this is so frustrating???

  16. 302 days since my NOA1 of I130. 266 for the I129F. I'm so sad and angry.

This is really unacceptable. What more can I do? other than wait.

My lawyer has no answers. Each time my congressman calls, they say it is with an officer who still needs to make a decision.(which i guess is good)

How f$%#ing long does it take to make a decision, especially for those couples waiting this long.

I'm saddened even more when I'm seeing all of these VJ members being approved when they filed LONG after me.

I guess I should be happy for you guys, which I am, but it hurts. It really hurts.

If there was a problem with something I would have received an RFE, and I have received none.

Sorry it's my last complaining i will do this week. More to come i'm sure in the next week.

    :angry::crying::angry::crying::angry::crying::angry::crying::angry::crying::angry::crying::angry::crying:

What do you know about what factors in your case are complicating the decision?

    hi jonbless

i too feel so sad and so bad.. still no approval... for almost 10 months!!!

have you made any service request and if you did, what did they tell you!!

we plan to do that this comings weeks if we dont have any good result by then...

i too don't know what more we can do...

    God help us all...

  17. hi gogo,

although you filed a head of me. still i feel with you because. most who filed with same month as mine all seem to have their approval.

we just called yesterday and we were told to wait for the 30days more... follwing your posting i fear now that it is possible that we might end up like your case. i really hope not.. :crying:

honestly i cant think any reason why they are pending our case my husband has just been naturalized last year july he then filed me august so.. then the petiton filed dor my mother -in - law is lamost half way done.. so i thought if there is a security for my husband... the other petition should be pending too.. but is approved early 5months only while me still pending almost 9months :crying:

i am keeping my finger crossed and hoping a positive thing for us..

anyway... why not go for MICHAEL GURFINKEL.... HE IS A WELL KNOW IMMOGRATION LAWYER IN MY COUNTRY AND AMNY FILIPINOS HIRE HIM... HE HAS TV SHOW... MAY TRY TO ASK IF YOU GOT SOME FRIEND WHO KNOWS ABOUT HIM...

    GOOD LUCK TO US.

  18. :) Hi August / September filers!

    Any good news ???

    hi guys,

still no good new for us? or has anybody there got something good..

the process time for I-130 go backwards I don't know if this is good for us August Filers or just a an evil scheme for the USCIS to avoud our inquiry

coz they will say again when we call..

" YES, MAM YOU ARE STILL UNDER PROCESS & YOUR PETITION HAS NOT PASSED YET THE 30DAYS, SO STILL IT'S NOT BEYOND THE CURRENT PROCESSING TIME. WE CANNOT MAKE AN INQUIRY THE DETAIL OF YOUR CASE UNTIL IT PASSES THE 30DAYS TIME."

ALL THESE BLA BLA BLA... OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY FRUSTRATING.

LAST MONTH THEY ARE ON THE SEPTEMBER 5 NOW WE GO BACK TO AUGUST 19, 2007.

LET'S JUST HOPE ITS A GOOD NEWS FOR US WHO ARE LEFT BEHIND WAY... WAY... BACK

JANUARY FILERS ARE ENJOYING THEIR GRADUATION FROM USCIS..

    HOW ABOUT US??? :crying::crying:
