Just received another update today ( Sept 18). I am very excited 😊. Hoping for email for second medical and passport request soon. Anyone else received the update today?

I also recieved unsolicited update on September 13.

These days they have turned off the auto reply option. I have not received auto reply to my two emails. Few months ago they used to send auto reply. Not anymore.

Hello, That's a great news to hear. I hope they request your second medical soon. My interview was on Jan 24,2024. I am hoping to receive email in next 2 weeks. ( I am too optimistic..lol)

No issue at all. My kids crossed the border to activate their visas, and we did mention at the border that we will move after the school year ends. Just remember to pay the green card fee after activation. Otherwise they will send you a reminder ...that usually delays the process.

Hi All, I emailed on Aug 15 and on Aug 22 to provide my new passport information. I neither receive autoreply nor email response. In both cases there was no status update. Today(Aug 26) , I saw the status update. Does that mean it is unsolicited update? Any thoughts?

I sent an email to provide my new passport. I didn't receive auto reply. No response..no case update. I was wondering if the email address is correct 🤔. I checked it and it was correct. May be they turned off the Auto reply option.

My interview was also in Jan2024 in Montreal and was asked for DS 5535 and resume. Still waiting...

Can you please look into the tracking sheet and fix the messed up columns? It says I recieved visa, which is not true. Columns C to V are shifted to one row above. Another thing, please highlight all rows to green for completed files. Thank you so much !!

CR1 (now it will be IR1). I think reason can be my work in engineering field. Not 100% sure though.

Today (June 13, 2024), I have received the reply to my email sent on May 23, 2024. Here is the response: "Please note that as soon as the administrative processing of your case is complete, you will be provided with the necessary instructions to renew expired documents such as your medical report." My file status remained same as expected and status date updated to June 13. The email confirms that DS 5535 is still under review. Fyi only: Jan 24, 2024 was my interview. My medical expires in 2 days.

Eventually, there will be an update. Stay strong and positive. I recently requested my passport so may be this update is after that request. There was no auto reply for my email. Just status update.

I received a status update today (May 29). Anyone else received an update recently ? My visa status is still refused, just date has been updated from April 9th to May 29.

There were no updates on my file when children got visa activated.

No. They only received information of the visa issued. My file has not reached their desk yet.

Yes, kids went to US border and got the entry stamped on the passports. We did informed the border officer that we are going back to canada. And the final move will be when I receive the visa. Let's hope visa is issued before August. Kids are excited to start next grade school in US.

I am not aware of that rule. I asked Doctor's office and they told medical is valid for 6 months only.

Hi there, I am in the same boat. My kids got visa in Jan 2024. I am waiting for mine. My file has been updated 7 times. Last one on April 9th. Since then no update. My kids visa expires in June 15th. My medical and passport will expire soon. I guess...waiting is the only option we have.
