Just to add to my other post....this is what my Senator sent me.

I just followed up with the Vermont Center and they informed us that they do process the cases by date. I talked with the supervisor there and she said the only reason those other applicants would have received their approval notices before you is if their case had been expedited. If this is not the case and you know this for sure, she suggests you provide us with the receipt # and name of another applicant you know that received theirs before yourself but had a later received date and they will look into this. You can email me the information if you like….

If you have an NOA1 date in July or August or later and have already received approval notice (NOA2)...pleeeeeeeease read.

First of all, I would like to say congrats to those who have gotten approvals. Wish I could say the same! I am a June Filer with NOA1 date June 5th. We have not had an RFE or anything, no news, and last touch was June 26th. I have contacted my senators about our case. I have told them that contrary to what Vermont tells them, they have begun approving July and even August filers. My Senator has asked if I could get a receipt number from a July or August filer who has there NOA2 already (and who has not been expedited) so they can further look into this issue. I'm sure this is a strange request, but they are just trying to follow up because Vermont obviously is not honoring the first come, first serve promise that they make. Which we all know has been an ongoing issue. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble or anything like that. And I'm truly happy for those of you who have already gotten approvals. I would not wish this long wait of no answers upon anyone. So basically, I'm just asking for help. Really trying to be proactive and get Vermont on the ball! Hey guys! I have seen multiple threads about people contacting his/her congressman. I was just wondering at what point this should be done.

I know I have saw a lot of people say to do this once you have been waiting for 6 months. I just didn't know if that was still the case since the

processing times have been changed once again. Next week will be our 6 month mark and we have not heard anything....no RFE (thank GOD) and no NOA2.

We have also not had a touch since June 26 (not sure that this means anything). I have called the USCIS several times in the past couple of weeks...the

first two times they would not allow me to be sent through to the next level of support. The third time that I called I spoke with an immigration officer who

basically said that our case was still pending and "these things could take up to 9 months." But obviously this is not true because they are already approving

July and August filers. Any advice or anyone that has been through this long wait?

we keep trying to call USCIS but they don't want to transfer us to a 2nd level supervisor. How can we get there? They say they won't transfer us as long as we are not outside of the normal processing time...How can we get through??

The only thing I know to tell you to do is keep trying....and hope you get someone nice that will transfer you through. I talked to 3 different people before I finally got someone who would send me through. And I only asked to be transfered to the next level of support and she said okay. Good Luck!

9 months???

ummmm yeah...apparently the 6 months is a joke (and it also says as of Aug 31). So everytime I have called they say they are still working on files with dates in March.

yep...no need to panic (well at least I hope not). I received our NOA1 on June 5th and still waiting for the NOA2. Hope this can give you a little peace. But trust me....I know how very frustrating all this waiting is!

I've seen various answers on this, so I'm not sure what is accurate. Does he have to pay to have his Dutch birth certificate translated into English, or is it acceptable for him to translate it? If he can translate it...does he just type it up and print it off or what?

We just got our approval for our 2nd NOA today Amazing how something can make two people so very happy!

Hello! How do you know if you have had any recent touches if the website isn't working? Do you just call to check it out? How often do most of you call or check online? I was assuming emails would come to update us but "zero" have appeared. Tell me please, what does it mean if the operator says "we are workig on your case"? Is that a canned message? Thank you.

You dont say on your timeline that you received your NA01. Once you've received that you are looking at around 6 months.

Its just so frustrating like they forgot about us and moved on to everyone else! Hopefully we will hear something soon, but Tuesday is another holiday so they probably won't get anything done until wednesday. Good luck! Please let me know if you hear anything.

Igor's List shows out of the last 20 NOA2s, 16 were Junes. Your NOA1 was early June, so I'd say any day now they could be working your case--and that's when the waiting is worst, when it can come at any time.

yes Coaster! I definitely agree. Checking the USCIS website about 100 times a day is making me crazy...lol. And Congrats on your Approval. I'm happy for all those who are now one step closer...just hoping that I can join reeeeeeeeeeeeealy soon

Ok so I called the embassy and I have my interview date!!! it's october 10th!!!!!!!!!!! oh my God!!! I cant believe it!!! I am freaking out already!!!! I hope my fiance can come!!!!
