She doesn't have a visa yet, but that's just a formality. The issue is that Poland is very anti-russia and has effectively barred Russians from being in/going into the country. We had to list Moscow, which automatically got transferred to Warsaw. I'm reading online though that most places wont allow transfers.

We just got our NVC welcome letter and my wife's interview is currently listed as Poland. With the current geopolitical tensions my wife (and I) are hesitant to go to Poland (or even attempt to) for fear of being caught with her hand in the cookie jar so to speak. What would you say the real risk of complications is? Has anyone actually heard of someone having issues flying into Shengen and then into Poland? Is it even possible to transfer to someplace like Kazakhstan? All I hear online is that that's not really feasible. I'm open and eager to hear what you guys have to say, thanks!
