  8. Just make sure that the Document Verification is paid.. There is almost no avoiding the delay.. it usually take 4-6 weeks (sometimes sooner) for the WHOLE document verification process. Good luck!! All you can do to keep you sain is follow-up, follow-up,follow-up

  9. Thanks for the replies. You're all right I should think positive and I already have the doc and ready to submit on Tuesday (I wish its not holiday on Monday :) ). Plus I think my doc verification is not yet with them too alhough I paid it a month before my interview. The lady on window 38 asked me for the metrobank slip.

I thought after the pre-screener who was so nice and didn't ask for any document just the pictures, everything is going to be fine. Until I came face to face with this lady CO (who's kinda healthy, ooops sorry). She didn't care to look at any of my proofs like remittances, phone bills, my hubby's flight itineraries, nothing, just the pictures that were already with her.

She was also kinda concerned with the fact that we got married barely a month after his divorce was finalized. But I told her when I met him he had been separated for more than a year and their divorce has already been filed.

I hope this has nothing to do with the additional document required.

Does anyone here know her name? She looks quite young and like a said quite healthy too. My husband told me I should have asked for her name. :bonk:

Hi! I also got a young lady and a chubby consul. At the time of my interview last August 19 she was assigned on Door #27.

But I don't even know her name.

Don't worry...Just have faith in God

i bet you that her name is Ellen Colleran....she is very tough and suspicious with all of the beneficiaries that goes in front of her... good luck to you ladies..

  10. Just an update! I called the embassy few minutes ago well my fiances case left the administration review unit on the 13th of augustand went back to the original consular who interview my fiance on the 5th of August. The CO will compare her note and the note of the other reviewing officer. i'm lucky that my fiances case was only in review for 8 days...now the other thing that is slowing the process in this document verification. i'm on the 3rd week since the request was made by the embassy (july 29th). they say that it takes 4-6 weeks for the process to complete. Once all is done, it boils down to the Original Consular Officer who sent my fiance to the admin Unit to make the final decision... I pray that this person does have a heart and recognize what true love means...We all sacrifice a lot and i hope we get this visa thing over with.. God bless you all!!

  11. Hang in there!! I know its hard for someone (CO) to have all the power to somewhat determine our future. Don't worry! As every one say, God has his ways. This will certainly test relationship, but like i tell my fiance, if her and i can get through this, we can get through anything. God bless u...!! please lets keep each other updated and maybe we can learn from each other and be able to help out others who might encounter what you and i are going through. take care!!

  12. Best thing to do is keep following up (the petitioner) with the embassy....this is so depressing, but true love always prevail so there is no need to spin your heads around trying to figure out what you do not know yet. Just make sure the document verification is paid and on going. As far as not getting any slip, based on my conversation with the embassy, once the the document verification is complete and the admistrative review is done (it can take 1-6 months), and a visa is issued, the beneficiary will receive a text from the USEM that a VISA have been issued and will be delivered via delbros. It will be a cash on delivery payment.....My fiance came across as nevous as they ask her about our sex life while i visited her, they ask why i brough my future mother in law to a trip to boracay, they ask her if she had boyfriend in the past... questions that is not even in the documents presented to the CO... if you get ELLEN COLLORAN (CO) i wish you well...all you can do is answer honestky...one thing i suggest is to speak up if don't understand anything. My fiance just took it from the CO and she felt abused. When she had her 2nd interview where my fiance can explain how she and i met, the panel did not even understand why my fiance was sent to the fraud department. No additional paperwork was needed...haaayy!!! did is so depressing, but i'm willing to give this a chance before making a drastic decision to move to the philippines... maybe then i can prove to this ELLEN COLLORAN thay we are not fraud...PRay!! pray!! pray!!! God bless!!

  13. Hi I was checking each time-frame similar to mine. We filed ahead of you but you got your NOA2 approval earlier. I been waiting :crying: for it.. I hope that we will receive it this week.

God bless you guys for your interview, maybe your fiance is nervous during the interview.

    I hope everything went well...

Yeah she was nervous... she had a CO who was to the point and intimidating.. CO's name is ELENA Colleran..they did not ask for any additional document and kept her passport so i hope that is a good thing..Thinking about going there for the 3rd time this year and get this under control. Is that even possible?? all i know is that they can review all the document aboutmy fiance about us, there is nothing fraud about TRUE LOVE

  14. That was the same CO that grilled me. Welcome to the club!

You just have to follow up Jhen, rather your fiance pala.

Congratulations! Your visa will come soon! :)

When u follow up, what number do i call from the US and what is the best time...thanks

  15. I HAVEN'T HEARD THAT SITUATION BEFORE HERE IN VJ... WELL, GOOD LUCK!

My fiance just finished her second interview.... Guess what she was send to the "FRAUD" department to where she was interviewed by three Filipina and filipino....after the second interview, they told my fiance that they don't understand why she was sent there. They said that they will call her ..this is so crazy right now!! OMG!!! is there a number that i can call so i can talk to the consul that interviewed her.. i have her name......

  16. My fiance is a nervous wreck right now, she had her interview this morning and she was hammared with questions that doubts our relationship. To elaborate, the Consul ask about a trip that my fiance and i had to where i brough my fiances mother. They wanted to know why? My fiance answered that I wanted to get to know both my soon to be mother in-law too. We had plenty of time to be ALONE, but for some reason this consul was suspicious about that trip to boracay.. She did not even consider my other trips alone with my fiance...Now the consul scheduled another interview for this afternoon...is this normal????.... My fiance feels like she being punch left and right and all i can tell her is be honest and hope for the best....how i wish i can be with her to comfort right now!!

  17. thanks for this te lei :)

I guess this is how the system goes:

    1. We pay DV through Metrobank.

    2. We inform Delbros through text that we have already paid for DV, after many hours of waiting, they will reply that they received the payment.

    3. Delbros will inform USEM that we had paid the DV.

    4. USEM will send a request to NSO that so and so's documents need to be verified. The requests are sent to NSO every monday.

    5. USEM picks up the results of the documents verifed every friday and were sent to USEM.

    The problem may occur when:

    1. The applicants didnt pay DV in advance.

    2. When the applicants didnt inform Delbros that they had paid DV.

    3. When Delbros didnt inform USEM that the applicant paid DV already.

    4. When there is a delay in sending requests to NSO and delay in picking up the results of DV

    Numbers to call:

    Delbros: 023392761 loc 104

USEM: 02-3012000 loc 5184 or 5185 look for Grace or Lorraine

I hope USEM can fine tune this document verification process soon! God bless you!

Ok thanks for the info:-) My wife just got off the phone with them, they told her the Embassy is the one to inform them when there ready with the list of names for doc verification

And my wife called Embassy yesterday and this morning many times everytime busy is it always very hard to talk to someone at Embassy or a best time to call?

8AM. I only dialed once and grace answered the phone :)

Just to make it clear, so there is no need to fax receipt to the USEm?? if so..great!!....yeah i hope they can fine tune this process...good luck everyone

  18. how recent does Bank statements have to be??.. i want to print statements and one dated for today, but should i wait until its a few weeks before the interview before sending all of my documents??? i will be setting an interview date this coming friday or Monday... i have a feeling that the interview won't be till late August early September...Thanks in advance for your help

  19. i think it also depends on the embassy/ country. in the philippines, i read in the instructions that they want the most recent income tax return (form 1040) and wage statements (w-2). unlike before wherein they ask for the itr and w-2 for the last 3 years, now they only ask for 1 year. kindly check the usem website for updates on the requirements.

i'm not actually in that process yet but i've been doing some research on it so pls correct me if im wrong.

One tax return is a listed requirement. Three is the best practice.

I currently have 2 years of transcript(2005,2006)from the IRS, W2 from year 2007, bank statements, employement letter and 6 most current paystubs..will this be good enough for the i-34???

Probably not at USEM. Where's your 2007 tax return?

i always do my tax return through TURBO TAX on-line.. I can Print out my whole Tax return from there.. I can attach my 2007 W-2 with it.. will that be sufficient???
