I'm just wondering how i can get my wife AOS case number. The check that i used to file was just recently cashed and the case number usually is stamped on the back of the check but, not this time. Do i just have to wait for a mail confirmation??? to i have to call the USCIS??? thanks guys/gals for your help...

According to the AOS Instructions, since my wife had here medial exam in the philippines. we just need to submit her vaccination supplement using I-693A form. Where do i get this.. i tried looking everywhere!.... i'm somewhat still confused... does my wife still need to have her medical exam here in the U.S??? ... the only thing that my wife received from her medical exam is her x-ray films and vaccination documentation worksheet...thank you so much for your help

i'm about to send off my wife's AOS paper works. I'm debating if i should include I-131 form (application for travel document).. Since my wife and I had just a civil wedding here, we are going to the Philippines for the Huge Church Wedding that will be next year (May 8, 2010).. I'm hoping her AOS process will go smoothly... should i send this form anyway???

My wife and i are starting to fill out our AOS application. Now question about the G325 a form. Obviously now that we are married, i should put her new last name correct??/ i just want to make sure... also something else concerns me. now my and i got married on Dec 8 2008 and her I-94 expired december 24 2008. Will this be a problem now that we are just now filing after 3 weeks of her i-94 expiring?? thanks in advance for your help... god bless

Question! my wife got here in the U.S on September 26th and we got married December 8th. Her I-94 just expired a couple of days ago. the process is that as much as possible, you needed to pay the document verification fee few weeks prior to your interview. Since you just paid it after interview, it can take up to 4 weeks for the documents to be sent to the USEM from NSO and another two weeks for the CO that interview you to look at the documents. Once the CO approved it.. it takes 2 days to process your visa and up to 5 days to deliver it. That is the best case scenerio. It is well documented that if you paid late of your document verification, your K-1 visa will be delayed. Many people has gone through what you are going through that's why the USEM packet 4 instruction clearly stated to pay the doc fee ahead of time. Good luck

it will depend on the result but usually 2-3 weeks after the USEM receive your documents from NSO and up to one week for delivery. good luck

hello!! there is no packet 3... now that you have your appointment letter you have to go the USEM website and print packet 4.

after your NOA2, you can give it about 3-5 business days and call the NAtional visa center and give them your USCIS case number..now if they said they received it, ask them if they issued you a case number yet..since its going to the Philippines, your case will start with MNL-########

You can get your interview date usually 2-3 weeks after NOA2 when its forwarded to National Visa Center and a case # is issued. sorry to say, but u did not need a lawyer...i'm assuming that your lawyer is saying that so you won't bug the hell out of them and that you will love them if you get your interview date sooner than what they tell you. Tell your lawyer that there is no packet 3 for the US embassy in the philippines. Your lawyer should know this...You need to go the the US embassy philippines website and print packet 4....once you get your case # when you call the NVC, wait about 7-8 days and call NVC again to check if your hard copy arrived the US Consulate in the philippines. Once its there, call the US embassy call center and schedule an interview. Look at my time-line to get a full picture....good luck

okay! now that i have a flight booked, does my fiance have to worry about the travel tax of 1620 pesos??? i booked a flight via Northwest Airlines. I told her about the 750 pesos airport fee. Is there anything else i'm forgetting?? thanks once again

Question. I plan to marry my fiance in December. DO i have to wait till then to apply for SSN so i don't have to change my wifes last name to mine?? or can she apply for SSN few weeks of arrival. Which is better?? upon reading the SSA website, i think only people who can work can recieve SSN. Do i have to wait for the AOS to be completed?? this is quite confusing to me. What documents did you all have to show the SSA office to apply for one?? thanks in advance for your help.. GOd bless!!

My fiance finally have her VISA in hand. It was delivered yesterday!!! wooohhoooo!!! thank you for all of the people that helped me with the process, for keeping me sane, for keeping my spirit high when i was down.. For all who are still going through the process, Just make sure that your documents are in order. My fiance went through hell at the interview, but when it was time to decide on the visa based on all of the documents presented and the document verification there was no reason to not approve it.....Time to book a flight!!! god bless everyone!!!!
