    @Dilyad khana could you please let me know whether did you have to resubmit all beneficbeneficiaries documents and substitute petitioner (guess yes for a new petitioner) ? Our case was documentarily approved and were waiting on interview but due to petitioner’s death, we requested for humanitarian reinstatement and this has now been reaffirmed by uscis. Our case is still locked by NVC. Guess they also take 2.5 months time to reopen. Thanks.

    Yes we have been in the similar situation as to our case has been reaffirmed and sent back to NVC but the account of ceac is still locked. It's been more than a month of waiting and we aren't able to call anyone for this. We only have notification online by USCIS that they reaffirmed our case. Not sure if we have to action on anything or just wait for NVC to come back on this? Thanks

    Hi Ana, need some information please. Our case has also been reaffirmed by USCIS as requested for humanitarian reinstatement. We only received an email mentioning about reaffirmation they asked us to contact NVC but there is no mail for it. When we contacted NVC, we were told that they haven’t received anything from USCIS. It's impossible to get someone on phone so not sure what to do about it? Do they take long to send approval notice by mail?
