I entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa and wasn’t aware I needed to apply for a Social Security Number (SSN) right after arriving. I’m now filing my I-485 for adjustment of status since the 90-day window to marry is nearly up. Can I still apply for an SSN after submitting my I-485, or will I need to wait until my green card is approved?

What I meant was that the doctor said the medical would be ready in one week. But they won’t be sending it to the embassy. I will have to come and collect the results myself on my way to the interview. They won’t be sending it to the embassy.

Hi everyone, I recently completed my K-1 visa medical exam in Helsinki. The doctor told me that everything looks good, but the blood test results will be ready in a week. They also mentioned that I need to come back to collect the test results on the same day as my visa interview. Is this a normal procedure? Has anyone else experienced something similar? So now, from what you have said. Does my fiance need to send me her paystubs, tax transcripts for the past 3 years? And the i-134 can be filled digitally or filled handwritten before faxing it to me? Are these instructions not going to be on the packet 3?
